Look At This

July 31, 2006
By

Scroll down to the third and fourth images at Confederate Yankee’s post.

Then have a look at this Guardian site, especially the 4th and 8th and last image. It is the same group at various times.

They certainly seem to be going to a lot of trouble to cover up what looks...

Bashar al-Ass-Hat

July 31, 2006
By

Hard to imagine who the Syrian would be boy dictator thinks he’s kidding. It isn’t as if anyone is even interested in his opinion, or much afraid of his army. Israel would have an easier time taking out Syria’s army than even Hezbollah, as they would have to mass to be effective.

Yet he’s chiming in as against an International force – no doubt because UNFIL is easier to bribe. And he has raised the country’s military alert status. The Syrian army is more an effective internal police force to keep opposition down, than it is a force to take the field in an International conflict.

It’s good to see Olmert still talking tough. Shame about Depeche Mode cancelling a concert in Israel – how’s that for a who cares? Didn’t even know...

A Tyre For Qana?

July 31, 2006
By

Update: Looks like more manipulation. If you check in at lgf and HotAir, you’ll find a CNN story talking about the rotting corpses from a mass burial in Tyre. Yet, as I point out below, bodies from that burial were stored in refrigerated trucks. Tyre is a Hezbollah strong...

Have We Lost The Rhetoric War?

July 30, 2006
By

Are there similarities in how we fight wars less effectively today and how we discuss them, similarities that might ultimately undermine the war effort itself?

If someone didn’t whole-heartedly support America’s cause in World War II, odds are they would have been called a traitor, a coward, or at least a weakling,...

Kerry Advocates “Lewinski” Diplomacy For N. Korea

July 30, 2006
By

Some YouTube fun re the recent Bolton Kerry confrontation. While you’re at it, there’s a new VolPac ad for a petition to support the Bolton nomination. If you’re a Bolton fan, as I am, perhaps you’ll consider clicking. And I also always appreciate support for the blog sponsors here. Thanks and...

CAIR

July 30, 2006
By

CAIR is an oxymoron and a group to watch. Video at links.

LGF operative ciaospirit went to the Council on American-Islamic Relations anti-Israel rally on July 28 in Columbus, Ohio—and was physically assaulted twice by Dr. Ahmad Al-Akhras, Vice Chair of CAIR-National. Here’s one instance, and there are ...

Fair Warning

July 30, 2006
By

Fair warning is needed on many fronts. It’s been well publicized by Israel that they would be attacking in the south of Lebanon. Fliers were dropped, broadcasts were made – so how is it that up to sixty "civilians," many said to be children were killed from an air...

The Dishonesty Of Glenn Reynolds?

July 30, 2006
By

So, while wanting to ignore him, I see this headline at Memeorandum courtesy of perennial ass-hat, Greenwald:

The anti-war majority, Glenn Reynolds, and the dishonest tactics of the pro-war right

(And just incidentally, but also quite revealingly, Reynolds’ "credibility" – to the extent such a thing still exists – suffered some rather...

WHAT?

July 29, 2006
By

The crazy Muslim shooter in Seattle with a permit to carry also worked at a nuclear dump site?

Are you freaking kidding me?

Thank God we don’t do the profiling thing. He might have found himself out of a job. I suppose now we’re going to learn how he didn’t have access to...

I Wouldn’t Label Gibson Anti-Semitic

July 29, 2006
By

Allah references Mel Gibson’s Passion Of The Christ in reporting on his recent arrest for driving under the influence.

Remember the fuhrer, er, furor over whether The Passion of the Christ was anti-semitic?

We have our answer.

Certainly we can all agree that his words were hateful and anti-semitic. But I’d stop...

Some Seattle Shooting Facts Getting Lost In The Coverage

July 29, 2006
By

You won’t find any of the details below in the latest New York Times report on the shooting in Seattle.

Alleged shooter, 30 or 31 year-old Naveed Afzal Haq was apparently raised in and around the Islamic Centre of Tri-Cities in Richland, which his Father, Mian Haq, started around the...

How is it not terrorism? That’s what I want to know. SInce when is a single actor not a a terrorist when he intends to take hostages?

See Hot Air and Gateway Pundit for coverage.

Here’s the war news: Pajamas Media, or read a few regional blogs. I like to...

I Disagree With Surber

July 28, 2006
By

Via Instapundit, Don Surber has a post up that’s linked to me. With respect to Don, I recall when he began blogging, but I’m unconvinced he’s been out and about on the Internet long enough to understand what’s going on.

The problem with catching Glenn Greenwald at sock puppetry is that it...

Hezbollah Still Exploiting UN Positions

July 28, 2006
By

I heard a pundit on the radio last night claim that the reason we were hearing so many anti-Israel and anti-US statements out of the UN recently is because Kofi and his crew’s terms are up in five months and they feel free to speak their mind. That should make you...

Simply Nutz

July 28, 2006
By

Talk about smack downs. Scroll down to see the video at Hot Air. There’s some sort of Japanese emasculation thing going on there. But on a surface level, it’s absolutely bizarre watching a bunch of nuts line up to take it in the …, well, nuts, I guess. And I don’t...

Hear It?

July 28, 2006
By

That’s the sound of UN Ambassador John Bolton laying the wood to the side of John Kerry’s head. Great video.

Kerry has a Gleason (humina humina humina) moment. Only when Gleason did it, it was funny. With Kerry, it’s as sad, as it is deserved.

Whoa, Guys!

July 28, 2006

Looks like quite a scuffle has broken out within the conservative blogosphere. See Ace and also The Commissar regarding this post at Wizbang. Now apparently Paul says he’s done blogging.

I had my issues...

Bekaa Valley

July 28, 2006
By

Good to see Israel striking at the heart of Hezbollah. Reports suggest Nasrallah may be hiding in the Iranian Embassy in Beirut. If Israel hits him there, it’s a regional war. And of course, the usual useful idiots and the so-called Arab street are starting to make noise. Too bad we...

War Games

July 28, 2006
By

At the Belmont Club. Wretchard speculates on what might be in the minds of the Israeli’s as they continue to carry the fight to Hezbollah – and to some extent, Lebanon. It’s an interesting read and I’ll link it at bottom. I’d like to speculate a bit myself.

Whether it was...

Do You Know Me?

July 27, 2006
By

Do you know me? Even though I am a NY Times best selling author, and a Constitutional scholar who practiced law for …, well, in New York, people often confuse me with someone else.

Okay, actually, most people have never heard of me, given that it was more of a well-timed...
