More On S. R. Sidarth

Update 2: While at first having no comment, during a brief phone conversation, S R Sidarth has denied ever having posted on autoadmin.com. Ultimately, that cannot be verified without an IP check, which I imagine would violate privacy restrictions.

A commenter on my personal blog claiming to be a member of that site first suggested someone had altered their nick and that autoadmit.com worked in such a way as to alter all previous comments. However, Google cache proves that explanation false.

It should also be noted that in today’s WaPo story, Sidarth is portrayed as an introvert who spends a great deal of time on the computer.

"I guess I was pretty introverted. I guess being an only child was part of that. I was on the computer a lot," Sidarth said.

The WaPo’s S R Sidarth is also a football player, playing end. Here is one post of S R Sidarth at autoadmit.com:

Date: December 18th, 2005 4:24 PM
Author: S.R. Sidarth

Boxscore says 10/24 for 69 passing yards with a touchdown and an interception. Jamie Martin went 8/11 for 58 passing yards.

Update: BTW The posting ID is S R Sidarth and the individual did make comment on UVA. However, it is possible there is another S R Sidarth than one recently featured in the WaPo.

Shrinking violet S. R. Sidarth is all over autoadmit. Pardon me for questioning his sensitivity before. Apparently this is what the WaPo’s hero finds acceptable for a public college admissions posting board. From his appreciation for Playboy and, more significantly, his remarks insulting to Homsexuals and *transvestites, evidently his sensitivity stops with anyone other than himself.

Vile and offensive content warning:

This has nothing to do with law school, but once I had sex with a tranny and his cock slapped my balls but I was on meth so I didn’t really mind.

Author: S.R. Sidarth

I spent a LOT of time 1l year posting flame on this board. I also went to the bar at least once (usually between 2 and 3 times, RFS) every week, except for the week and a half or so before finals. When I went to the bar I didn’t have 1 or 2, I would get fucking wasted. I also spent at least a few hours a week jacking off to Internet porn. Taking naps was also a favorite pastime.

Result?

Transfering to CCN.

Hence, it can be done. Just study when you have to and make sure you’re not a complete fucking idiot. This story is true and should inspire you- you can be as much as a douchebag as I am and still succeed.

HTH

Actually, he seems to enjoy calling people names. I didn’t bother reading them all.

Updated: *transvestites was transgendered. I should have caught that sooner, as an Eddie Izzard fan.

  1. Excellent detective work, Agent Dan!

  2. splashtc says:

Seems he has a caca mouth. Act like a jerk then whine when someone treats you like one.
The msm has to change the way they report-or just admit they are all tabloid like whores.

  3. Original Rick says:

Frankly, None of this makes what Allen said alright. Even moreso really.

  4. Dan Riehl says:

Frankly, None of this makes what Allen said alright.
No, it doesn’t address that, that’s for Allen and I think he has. But when the WaPo wants to make someone like SR Sidarth front page news for five days in a row, I think we’re entitled to a broader view of him.

  5. Pablo says:

Right. Allen should have called him a foul mouthed little twatwaffle.
There’s something to be said for accuracy.

  6. topsecretk9 says:

    WOW.
Frankly, None of this makes what Allen said alright. Even moreso really.
    More so HOW?
    S. R. Sidarth looks like a creepy scum leftist that trolls around looking for the worst in people because he’s fully versed ans active in what the worst is.

  7. Dan Riehl says:

Well, I find his comments insensitive to Homosexuals and transvestites. And given that he works for Webb, he deserves to be held to account. If we are going to over-monitor people’s speech, it works both ways.

  8. John says:

Dan, you (or someone) should screen cap ol’ Sid’s posts before he gets to deleting them or has a buddy at AutoAdmit do that for him…

  9. malka says:

Sidarth is a friend of mine, and I VERY much doubt that he wrote that. I can’t remember ever hearing him curse. He’s one of the most polite people I know, even to those he disagrees with.

  10. HonestyAlert says:

This seems inaccurate: S.R. Sidarth supposedly writes “I spent a LOT of time 1l year posting flame on this board.” The WashPost reports that he is a senior in college–not a first-year law student.

  11. PONALAU says:

GO TO A PHONE BOOK. LOOK UP SIDARTH. ENOUGH SAID.
*DISCLAIMER* IF YOU LIVE IN A SMALL TOWN IN ONE OF THE ‘RED’ STATES, THEN NEVERMIND. DON’T BOTH LOOKING THRU YOUR PAMPHLET-SIZED PHONE BOOK, SIDARTH WON’T BE IN THERE. YOUR RIGHT, THEIR CAN BE ONLY ONE PERSON USING THAT NAME TO POST ANYTHING THEY WANT.

  12. XO Poster says:

Ok, so that’s not actually S R Sidarth. If you had half a clue about how the xoxo (aka autoadmit) board worked, you would know that you can change your alias, and it retroactively makes the change in all posts that you’ve previously made. So, in light of recent news, some dude on the board changed his handle to SR Sidarth, perhaps hoping that some dim-witted blogger would fail to pick up on the intricacies of the message board rules.

  13. Makaka says:

    Actually, I posted that.
    Makaka

  14. Dan Riehl says:

Sidarth supposedly writes “I spent a LOT of time 1l year posting flame on this board.”
Yes, but also asks many questions typical of an undergrad. I’ve attempted to reach Sidarth and will gladly post any response.

  15. Dan Riehl says:

“If you had half a clue about how the xoxo (aka autoadmit) board worked,”
Hey, Einstein, don’t tell me, that updates Google cache as well?? ha ha ha I love it when idiots try to act intelligent. Go back to xoxo with your BS. Maybe they’ll buy it there. LMAO

  16. Art E. Choke says:

Wow! When Sidarth runs for Senate, this post will have a point.

  20. Original Rick says:

    “WOW.
Frankly, None of this makes what Allen said alright. Even moreso really.
    More so HOW?”
More so because Allen claims to represent Virginians and Sidarth is just another bigoted nobody.

  21. CottShop says:

sorry Reihl- dunno what happened- it seems I got 3 trackbacks goign on- didn’t mean for this to happen- I’m new to all this stuff

  22. Interesting.
In some earlier posts on that board by “S.R. Sidarth” in 2005, he mentions what I take to be the University of Minnesota, at one point as explicitly as saying “No wonder I go to Minnesota.”
    http://www.autoadmit.com/thread.php?thread_id=233206&mc=22&forum_id=2#3499770
    Later, he’s talking about UVA.
Establishing the identity of the S.R. Sidarth on that board may lie in that direction.
Whoever he is, he doesn’t seem ultra-sensitive to racial inferences. In one thread, he responds to a comment about a Somali-heavy area near Minnesota being called “Crack Stacks” and “slums in the sky” merely with a question about what the term “tenderloin” means (it’s a neighborhood)
    http://www.autoadmit.com/thread.php?thread_id=284507&mc=28&forum_id=2#4120713
In another thread that opens with the header “Minneapolis is an ugly ghetto city and UMN Law is TTT.,” that S.R. Sidarth never objects to that terminology though he asks another poster whether he knows UMinn. is a “TTT,” which apparently can mean “third-tier toilet” in lovely law-school parlance.
    http://www.autoadmit.com/thread.php?thread_id=287833&mc=69&forum_id=2#4163082
On a variety of threads, that S.R. Sidarth also objects to affirmative action when it grants slots in schools to less-qualified candidates (and bravo for that).
Sidarth’s denial to Riehl of having commented on that board seems shaky, but I can’t say the identify is proven. Nor do I find most of AutoAdmit S.R. Sidarth terribly objectionable, especially for an immature young man. But if it IS the same guy, the S.R. Sidarth we read about in the Post was merely a useful pose. And that’s why all of this matters.

  23. “Update: BTW The posting ID is S R Sidarth and the individual did make comment on UVA. However, it is possible there is another S R Sidarth than one recently featured in the WaPo. ”
Well, that pretty much renders this a waste of time.

  24. S.R. Sidarth: Foul-Mouthed Porn Freak?

Dan the Man introduces you to the Webb campaign’s U.Va. student volunteer. You know, that sensitive soul who was so shocked by Tunisian slang …

  25. TJM says:

A new low;somehow you think that the judgment of a sitting US senator and that of a college student are equivalent. You actually think Allen, having shown a stunning inability to keep from uttering an insult to a foreign-looking person, deserves further consideration as a candidate for the presidency? Well thanks for admitting to having such low standards.Frankly,I’d prefer to consider a presidential candidate who hasn’t shown such poor judgment but you go right ahead.

  26. nova says:

TJM: I can remember some other “lows”. I was thinking this morning after I saw a bumper sticker that said “No one died after Clinton lied”.
Yes, but…..when it comes to low standards for the Presidency I would say Bill Clinton was the all time low. At least in my lifetime and I am 66 years old.
His behavior with Monica Lewinsky hit the all time “low”. Exactly what kind of role model did he provide for the youth of America with his behavior?

  27. nova says:

Special to the Washington Post. Also known as: The Whipping Post: Besides this macca story what other issues are there in the Va. Senate race? I live in Va. and would like to know. I never see anything on any OTHER issue. And what about Andrew Young? Why did you bury that story in the business section on the FIRST day it broke?

  28. Lexy says:

What’s caca is that you try to deflect attention from Allen’s idiocy by trying to smear Sidarth based on some message-board BS. It’s so transparent you don’t really care about homosexual/transvestite sensitivity, even if you are an “Eddie Izzard fan” (trying to be hip?). As a homosexual with many tranny friends, I think Sidarth’s comment about the tranny’s dick and his balls with the crystal meth is a fucking laugh riot. Republicans, of course, can never be expected to understand the comic genius of gender-bending sodomy on drugs, probably because they secretly engage in those activities and are in constant fear of being exposed.

  29. actus says:

Has anyone tried posting comments under the name “dan riehl”?

  30. jukeboxgrad says:

dan: “If we are going to over-monitor people’s speech, it works both ways.”
Sidarth (and Webb) did not “over-monitor people’s speech.” Is that really what you’re claiming?
Videotaping the words of a US senator addressing a public gathering does not qualify as an attempt to “over-monitor people’s speech.” Especially because hypocrite Allen does the exact same thing (just like lots of other modern candidates).

  31. Xo Poster says:

“Hey, Einstein, don’t tell me, that updates Google cache as well?? ha ha ha I love it when idiots try to act intelligent. Go back to xoxo with your BS. Maybe they’ll buy it there. LMAO”
Hey, Einstein, did you bother looking at the dates of the Google cache? Yeah, there, at the very top of the screen? That’s right–they’re all August 18, 2006, and after. ha ha ha I love it when morons try to act intelligent. Go back to first grade with your BS. LMAO
If you have any intellectual honesty whatsoever–and I’m not saying you do–how about a retraction?

  32. Doug says:

Or at the very least, stop desperately grasping for ways to minimize the douchebaggery of your hero George Allen. Every time you post on this topic, you end up getting pwn3d by any number of commenters, usually in highly embarrassing fashion. Don’t you right-wingers ever get tired of being wrong?

  33. Potatoe says:

Dude Sirdarth needs to be eliminated. I think we ALL know exactly what I mean–not killed but this information needs to be immediately released to every major newspaper in the country. IMMEDIATELY.

  34. Dan Fan says:

DAN YOU MERCILESS BASTARD. YOU PWNED SIDARTH. THAT’S WHAT HE GETS FOR FOLLOWING THE GREAT GEORGE ALLEN AROUND.
TELL ME DAN, WHY ARE YOU SO AWESOME AND HOW CAN I BE AWESOME TOO?

  35. PatD says:

Just what does it matter in the least what Sidarth may or may not have done, said, or thought on some website ?
What matters is the comportment of a sitting US Senator and what he will say or do to get re-elected.

  36. Right-wing blogger mentality

Generalizations are dangerous things. But I’ve seen enough of this trend to make the following generalization: When faced with an embarrassing story about one of their own, right-wing bloggers have a maddening tendency to change the topic from what the…
