Jesse Griffin: Just Asking Questions

By
August 11, 2009

The investigation into infamous, expletive-spewing, former assistant kindergarten instructor and anti-Palin blogger, who when not encouraging masturbation on a blog he provided a link to on his MySpace page that any student who knew him by name could have discovered, Jesse Griffin, continues to turn up interesting material. Upon contacting Griffin's listed employer he is totally unknown to employees there spanning back eight years. Given that fact, perhaps the better question right now may be, Jesse who?

Additional research uncovered some apparently questionable business practices, including large tax liens (I could not locate any document establishing whether all the liens have yet been paid), and the location of the school can also be connected to an influential politically active progressive married couple with a background that includes political campaigns, large organizations and millions of dollars often dispensed in large amounts, including for grassroots activism, or community organizing, as well as a family trust fund. That substantive report follows this brief introduction for background.

Saturday Griffin posted this and more (link not to Griffin), while instructing readers to stop visiting critical blogs:

My question is. who pays for this? Who sent money to the websites that attacked me to spend so much time trying to cut and paste bit and pieces of four year old posts together in an effort to "prove" I am a bad guy?

Trig is only around sixteen months old, yet Palin has no problem thrusting him into a discussion about elderly care. That is even less of an appropriate place for little Trig to be than when he was trotted out on stage, in front of bright lights and television cameras, during the McCain campaign.

Sarah Palin has used this heartrending diminutive prop with such careless abandon, that even people who once supported her are embarrassed at her apparent disregard for the well being of this baby.

Leaving behind all of the questions about Trig's parentage, the question we must now ask ourselves is how well is he currently being cared for?

I believe that many people have very powerful concerns for this child.

We see him trotted out when Sarah wants to make a political point, or create the warm motherly image for the cameras, but who cares for him while there are no cameras to record the event?

… But every time we see Trig and Sarah together, it is clear that Sarah is well aware of the photographers. She is usually all gussied up and ready for her close up. And even in those moments how warmly does she interact with this child?

More and more it appears that this little one is nothing more then(sic) a shield against criticism and a prop for the photographers. I wonder if she even picks him up without a photographer to capture the event?

Hey I am just asking.

Admittedly angered and aware of what the same blogger posted when Trig Palin was born, before Sarah Palin was nominated to oppose Obama/Biden, the decision was made to return to Jesse Griffin to ask some questions of my own. Immoral Minority, April 2008 prior to Palin's nomination the day Trig was born. Any typo's are his:

My Governor made a human being today. What did your Governor do? Gov. Sarah Palin gave birth Friday to her fifth child, a boy, about month before her due date. Trig Paxson Van Palin weighed 6 pounds, 2 ounces. A news release from Palin's office says the 44-year-old governor and the baby are doing well and resting comfortably. Welcome to our world little man. We are trying to fix it just for you. And we dearly hope you mommy is going to help us.

What made him change?

Further investigation of high-profile and seemingly sexually-obsessed anti-Palin blogger Jesse Griffin led to the discovery of several curious facts, including a current employer of record for Griffin, the Puffin Heights Montessori School in Anchorage Alaska, whose current on site employees, as confirmed through multiple phone interviews, have no knowledge of him at the work location, claiming no individual named Jesse Griffin has been present at the site in any way for at least the past eight years.

The school, which appears to have unpaid tax liens over a long period of time, can also be linked to an influential couple in progressive Democrat politics and the ongoing national health care debate. Their political and business connections span several states and high-profile political organizations, as well as millions of dollars in lobbying, stimulus and even some purely political funds, including campaign contributions.

A business enterprise, Clinica Sierra Vista, Inc. (CSV), linked to the couple recently collected over $4 million of American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) dollars as part of an overall effort in support of community-based health care centers being touted by Barack and Michelle Obama. That sum was high compared to taxpayer dollars distributed to several similar firms in an industry critical to Obama's make-or-break push for health care reform.

Former Alaska resident Catherine New is married to the head of CSV, Eligio G. White. New is also linked to the Puffin Heights Montessori School identified as Griffin's employer.

Research documented and published at Joseph Culligan's Web of Deception cites Jesse Griffin's current employer as the Puffin Heights Montessori School, a pre-school not officially affiliated with the International Montessori chain. (Montessori HQ in NYC confirmed the lack of affiliation. The name is not copyrighted and while agreeing it might be deceptive, they said it was not an unheard of practice. The Puffin Heights school ceased being affiliated in 2003.)

A call to that school last week indicated an employee of Puffin Heights had no knowledge of Griffin. In a subsequent call the school's manager confirmed that Griffin has not been present, or presumed to work for the school at their physical location during the past eight years.

Name:JESSE RAY GRIFFIN
        Gender: Male
        SSN: xxx-xx-xxxx
        Company: PUFFIN HEIGHTS MONTESSORI SCHOOL
        Address: 1000 W 20TH AVE, ANCHORAGE  AK 99503-1715
        Phone: 907-272-5999
        FEIN: 92-0157340

According to public records, the school may have a troubled past with significant Federal and State tax liens over its run, which may have contributed to the original corporate entity being involuntarily dissolved on 10/31/03. It had initially become effective on 9/05/1995.

Tax issues, some resolved, some apparently not resolved, include, but are not limited to a $37,330 lien filed by the IRS on 4/14/2005 and another $23,578 lien filed by the IRS on 1/2/2007. Several State liens for a total of several thousand dollars have also been filed over the years. Based on public record filings, one known owner throughout its existence and its current operator, Leslie Barrera, and her husband are both consistently voting Democrats. Joe Culligan has documentation posted near the top at his site – scroll down.

Puffin Heights Montessori School, Inc. was involuntarily dissolved; however the school itself seems not to have missed a beat. A limited partnership, Puffin Heights, LLC, was organized by one Yolanda Baber seemingly to take the corporation's place. The school continued operations with the same name and location.

This was confirmed in conversation with an employee at the location. However, according to Web of Deception, it appears no such person as Yolanda Baber exists within the state of Alaska who could possibly be the Baber cited as the partnership's organizer. Contact with the partnership's registered agent, CSC, has so far not resolved any remaining questions.

A phone message requesting comment from the school's apparent owner, Leslie Barberra,  has not been returned. Nor has blogger Jesse Griffin responded to a recent request for comment via email.

Puffin---C-New-from-Mont-we The Puffin Heights school in Anchorage appears to have been an official part of the Montessori chain at one point and the Montessori headquarters in New York confirmed that for 2001 and 2002, before the original corporation was involuntarily dissolved, possibly due to back tax issues.

Catherine New was once listed as primary contact for the school according to the Montessori Foundation. Given that Leslie Barrera has also been officially affiliated with the school as one owner during its entire period of operation, it would seem to indicate that New and Barrera should be acquainted.

Based upon their histories, activities and associations, Catherine New and her husband, Eligio G. White, both appear to be progressive political actors. Documents show that the couple resided in Alaska as far back as 1996, near the time the Puffin Heights school was launched. According to a comment posted on a website, New and White maintained a home in Alaska for some time after leaving the state:

Terrence, I do hope you realize how very much we appreciate your exemplary management of our home. I think you know that we have experience with less effective property managers outside of Alaska. It's satisfying to link up a friend and colleague with a pro like you. – Catherine New

Records indicate they also own homes in Utah and California. Catherine New is listed as a self-employed journalist and Obama personal contributor ($750) here. However, according to Joe Culligan of Web of Deception, at some point her employment was listed as a Director of Brian for Utah, supporting Brian Watkins, a progressive Democrat with a blog presence who has run for Congress in the past. A call to their California home seeking comment from New and White went unanswered; no machine picked up to leave a message. That is the only one of their known addresses for which a phone number was available for this report.

WhiteCatherine New's husband, Eligio G. White, has other influential titles beyond CSV. He plays other roles pertinent to the ongoing health care debate and the industry's potential future under substantive reform.

White is also the immediate past Chairman of the Board of Directors for the National Association of Community Health Centers Association (NACHC), a large organization that spends large sums of money (see p 15 of this pdf) on lobbying and grassroots organizing. He's also listed here.

Immediate Past Chair Community Medical Centers, Inc. 7210 Murray Drive Stockton, CA 95210-0779 Phone: 209/373-2827 Fax: 209/373-2873 Email Eligio G. White

More on White hereand see Clinica Sierra Vista, where he has been CEO and Deputy CEO and according to this release from May, 2009, he is CSV's head. Some real estate, including a Salt Lake City home and presumably any wealth are now in a family protection trust. The community health concept is endorsed by Obama here via the NACHC, as well.

From humble beginnings in a storefront warehouse, Clinica Sierra Vista has grown to become one of the largest, private, non-profit, community based and governed agencies in California. We are a leader in the provision of primary health care and preventive health education services. We are also a multi-institutional model for rural health care delivery. Since 1971, Clinica Sierra Vista has grown to twenty-four sites, with over 900 employees. We are a testament to what can be accomplished when there is a sincere desire to serve.

White seems to turn up almost everywhere at the highest level of activism as regards health care reform.

Out of the $850 million Michelle Obama was pushing during a visit to a community health center last month, Clinica Sierra Vista made off with over $4.3 million in taxpayer dollars:

First Lady Michelle Obama paid a visit to a Washington, D.C., health center to underscore the critical role the national network of health centers play in health care. She visited Unity’s Upper Cardozo Health Center to announce the Obama Administration’s support for the renovation and modernization of health centers through the American Recovery and Re-Investment Act (ARRA), with the allocation $850 Million to construct or renovate health centers in urban and rural areas.

The sum received by CSV seems to have significantly exceeded the funds received by most similar firms.

There are now more questions in need of answering. But there's only so much one blogger with a keyboard and a cell phone can achieve. However, in the spirit of Jesse Griffin, why not briefly ask more pointed questions, too?

WHY DID JESSE CHANGE?

With the nomination of Sarah Palin as Republican Vice-Presidential candidate everything seemed to change for Jesse Griffin. Remember, just months earlier he had positive things to say about Sarah Palin, including the birth of son Trig. That's no longer the case.

Records indicate he has shared an address with a much younger man, possibly a step-son, Kyle Sisseck, age approximately 22, who according to public records may have multiple felony arrests between 2007 and 2009 for assault, multiple felony thefts and also shoplifting. There are also traffic tickets for no right-side mirror, proof of insurance and other offenses.

Griffin also seems to have an active mortgage of approximately $300k from 2005 when ex-wife Deann R. Griffin left. She seems to have remarried shortly thereafter. Though having her out of state address and phone number I've opted to not contact her at this time. The above facts and more have been known to me since early in the investigation but were withheld as they provided no additional pertinent context to the earlier postings on anti-Palin blogger Jesse Griffin. Now I believe they do.

What made Jesse Griffin change as regards Sarah Palin? Could it be a failed marriage and troubled family life in the face of a family that seems so contented, successful and genuinely loving and giving as the Palins do? Could it be the weight of a $300,000 mortgage loan taken out in November of 2005 coupled with additional expenses and the need for some cash particularly due to a departed spouse and assistance for some possible legal fees?

It's impossible to say, really. Having now observed Griffin over time, looking into him a bit, I can imagine any number of motivations for him to make a change. Perhaps one day we'll find out. But we're "just asking questions," right? Just like Jesse Griffin does.

Please also visit Stacy McCain at The Other McCain who contributed significantly to the early portions of the Jesse Griffin coverage. And please don't forget Joseph Culligan at Web of Deception, who contributed significantly to this phase.

    Hmmmmm
A poltically connected company with a history of financial issues and mismanagement gets government health care grants?
    Dig…dig…thats where the story is!

  2. Gonzales says:

So Griffin is a douche bag, which also means he is a lefty ass-hat since it is documented fact that liberals are indeed D-Bags.

  3. Laughing Annie says:

Hahahahaha! Back to the day job, Dan!

  4. Piney says:

The more you look, the wider the hole becomes.
It is always the tiny pebble that causes the bruise. Griffin is that pebble, and lord knows where all this will lead.
    Well done, Dan!

  5. alwaysfiredup says:

Hm. Jesse needed money. The Obama campaign needed dirt on Palin. Jesse got some kind of fake job (employer was happy to be listed as “of record” but his supposed co-workers didn’t know who he was) and he instantly changed his blogging perspective the same day Sarah Palin was nominated for veep. Loads of vile nonsense suddenly appear everywhere regarding the new veep candidate. I therefore conclude that Jesse was hired to dig up dirt on Sarah Palin and blog about it. My guess is this is political spending not reported as such…

  6. DanO says:

    response to JustOneMan:
…so we have an individual with a November 2005 mortgage for 300K with (my estimate) a payment over $2000/mo. who separates from is wife (relevance: loss of household income) but is still able to maintain those payments? Despite the fact that no one has seen him at “work” in eight years?
    Oh yeah. Keep digging Dan.

  7. JustOneMan says:

    Day job? What day job?

  8. Sarah says:

I’m sorry – I don’t understand the significance of this story. Would someone boil it down for me? I haven’t been following the anti-Palin blogger issue from the beginning so maybe I’m missing something. Has a scandal been revealed here that the American public needs to know about?
Gonzales – liberals are D-bags??? All of ‘em? Just like that??? Truly?? Even me? What did I ever do to you?

  9. Proud Liberal says:

ROFLOL…. that is it? lol…… you gotta be kidding. Looks just like a lame excuse to publish Jesse’s phone number (which I assume he has already changed) and nothing else. You go into a whole thing about the school that you yourself admit he hasn’t worked at during the last 8 years. What is the story Dan? I must be real slow…. so explain to me in simple words what you are alleging here. Can you do that for me?

  10. John H says:

Dan Riehl has a Black Belt in ‘asking questions’…3rd degree natch!
    Good job Dan

  11. Kitty says:

    Who’s paying Jesse’s salary now?

  12. Proud Liberal says:

What is the story? What are you alleging Dan? What? Can you spell it out for us?

  13. anginak says:

Proud Liberal – That’s not Jesse Griffin’s phone number. If nothing else, please read more carefully.

  14. mojo says:

Culligan is a pretty good search engine jockey, but he doesn’t have clue #1 as to formatting a web page.
Looks like Jesse’s a zombie, huh? Go figure.

  15. Proud Liberal says:

You know what is disgraceful, is that the school, which of course is probably totally innocent of ANYTHING is now going to be harassed by your goons. Yes, you made sure to publish their address and phone number. Is this what it has come down to? We are going to harass anybody that has any association with people we disagree with politically? What did this school do to warrant the abuse I am sure your nutbags will visit on them. This is thuggery plain and simple yet once again.
What if the left started publishing the phone numbers of anybody associated with Sarah Palin….? just to make their lives difficult? Is that ok too? Is that where we are heading Dan? Are you proud of your “reporting”? I defy ANYONE to tell me what the relevance of this story is. If you have some wild conspiracy theory that Obama secretly funneled funds to this little ole’ blogger to discredit Sarah Palin through this school… WOW… that is all I have to say, WOW… you have gone over the edge. I’ll chalk it up to the lack of sleep but this is truly bizarre stuff.

  16. geoffb says:

Pulling on the correct thread, it’s what good reporters do. Keep pulling, the unraveling is just beginning.

  17. Proud Liberal says:

“Proud Liberal – That’s not Jesse Griffin’s phone number. If nothing else, please read more carefully.”
You are right, I apologize. I read too quickly. It apparently is the school’s number but I object for the same reasons. What has this school done to warrant the harassment they will undoubtedly receive.

  18. Ran says:

“What? Can you spell it out for us?”
It’s all right here in plain English…
    http://www.riehlworldview.com/carnivorous_conservative/2009/08/jesse-griffin-just-asking-questions.html
    Bloody public schools.

  19. “What is the story? What are you alleging Dan? What? Can you spell it out for us?”
He’s not “alleging” anything, Proud Libeler, just exposing some very interesting things that will probably lead to other even more interesting things.

  20. Barbara says:

me thinks proud lib doth protest too much.
“your goons” “we” which is it

  21. Stogie says:

If I understand correctly, the gist of the story is:
    1. Jesse Griffin never worked for the kindergarten that he publicly stated as his employer (he lied about that like so much else; this makes Jeanne Devon’s ridiculous “Leave the Kids Alone!” post even more absurd;
    2. The people who own and run the kindergarten are “progressive” liberals (“progressive” denoting barking moonbats); Dan is in the process of “discovering the networks,” a la David Horowitz.
    3. Jesse Griffin lives in a $300k house with no visible means of support, raising the question, who is paying him and for what?
    4. Jesse Griffin once supported Sarah Palin until she became the GOP VP pick, then overnight changed into someone with advanced PDS; was he paid to do so? If so, who is paying him?

  22. Sarah says:

ol_dirty, what’s interesting about the things Dan has exposed? I just don’t see a story here. Some people we don’t like have connections to some other people we don’t like? So the eff what??

  23. David R. Graham says:

Thanks, Dan, as always you do our nation a great service. She and I, one of her sons, are grateful to you, for all that you do!

  24. SacTownMan says:

“What is the story Dan? I must be real slow…. ”
    LOL!!!!!!!!!
    No shit Sherlock!!!!

  25. carolW says:

Weird such results on Catherine New in New York, some kind of editor, I’m not sure, does she work for NYT’s?
    Or another Catherine New?
    http://www.manhattanoffender.com/catherine_new/
Catherine New produces no good results on yahoo just google.

  26. Barbara says:

    Dan,
You had done a great job with the Gates fraud and that was on my mind reading
through this farce. No show jobs on taxpayer dime does not go over well, would
cite what is going on with Murtha as example.
Is that Irish Spring I smell as you step out of hazmat shower?
lawdyy what a cesspool you have waded into.
    Great job.

  27. ManUpDan says:

Dan’s new bestest buddy and Palin FANatic Eddie Burk was sanctioned for doing this kind of CRAP. Burke being the asshole he is leaked the names and HOME PHONE NUMBERS of those questioning Palin at a rally. Google Alaskan host Eddie Burk suspended for on air remarks. This is the company Dan keeps and the woman he spends his days & nights dreaming up B*S* up for. Says a lot about Dan.

  28. Sarah says:

Stogie – thanks, I thought I missed something. Nope. I don’t see the big scoop here. Why do we care about Jesse Griffin? What’s so important about “exposing” him? And just what has been “exposed” here, other than the school where he claims he works might be covering for him, he has income of which we don’t know the source (not suspect in itself, folks – a lot of people are in that boat), and he changed his mind about a politician.
I repeat: So the eff what? Is it a conspiracy? I don’t see it. Sorry.

  29. “You go into a whole thing about the school that you yourself admit he hasn’t worked at during the last 8 years.”
And then Proud Racist Liberal shrieks this:
We are going to harass anybody that has any association with people we disagree with politically?
That’s the point; the school HAS no association with Jesse Griffin. He lied about it.
Why did he lie about this, sociopath Proud Liberal? Why did this person lie about being associated with this school? Why did you and your fellow lying liberals attack Riehl for identifying the claim that this fool worked at a school, WHEN YOU KNEW GRIFFIN WAS LYING?

  30. Proud Liberal says:

“Records indicate he has shared an address with a much younger man, possibly a step-son, Kyle Sisseck, age approximately 22, who according to public records may have multiple felony arrests between 2007 and 2009 for assault, multiple felony thefts and also shoplifting. There are also traffic tickets for no right-side mirror, proof of insurance and other offenses.”
Oh, so the younger male that Griffin lived with is is step-son???? puts a bit of a different spin on the story doesn’t it? Not his lover as your previous posts tried to suggest? And what is his crime Dan that you plastered him name and arrests? What did he do to you that you would make him public? Has he said any LIES about Sarah Palin? Has he gotten money from that fascist Obama that you felt the need to expose his name and possible arrests? Or is it just your intention to damage anyone or anything associated with Griffin? The school he worked at? The school he didn’t work at? His step-son? How many other people or institutions do you want to destroy in your hold jihad against Griffin?
And you have the audacity to attack people because they talk about Palin’s children and you do this? Unbelievable. Disgraceful. and utterly hypocritical

  31. capt joe says:

So Griffen had a no show up job, being paid by some “progressives” from California/Utah who apparently don’t pay their taxes and who receive inordinate amounts from the recovery fund. And the real purpose of the job is smearing Palin. Possible tie in of the progressives with the Obamas.

  32. Hyman Roth says:

    Sarah,
People don’t volunteer to pay someone else’s $300k+ mortgage for nothing. (If they do, give me their phone number!)
If Jesse Griffin was paid to harass Sarah Palin by lying about her and spreading rumors, it is relevant. As is any information about who has paid, supported or encouraged him.
It’s called, hmmm…what’s that term? Oh yeah: “The Politics of Personal Destruction”. And if my memory is accurate, a liberal icon named Bill Clinton said it was bad.

  33. greg says:

Keep pulling at the Jesse Griffin thread, and the whole thing will eventually unravel. Who’s paying Jesse enough money to keep up payments on a $300,000 house, it’s upkeep, and a vehicle? I figure it is some Soros funded front group associated with Axelrod, but the money laundered through so many different people and institutions that it will be hard, but no impossible to trace.

  34. Hyman Roth says:

“Oh, so the younger male that Griffin lived with is is step-son????…Not his lover as your previous posts tried to suggest?”
Liberals think that blurring the issue between the two is ok.

  35. JustOneMan says:

Ahh, but the strawberries that’s… that’s where I had them. They laughed at me and made jokes but I proved beyond the shadow of a doubt and with… geometric logic…

  36. PaleoPat says:

    Wow. Just Wow….
Good Job Dan. I guess there’s a hell of a bunch more to this, that I thought.
    Again Sir, Good job.

  37. Proud Liberal says:

capt joe, “So Griffen had a no show up job, being paid by some “progressives” from California/Utah who apparently don’t pay their taxes and who receive inordinate amounts from the recovery fund.”
Where did you get that from Dan’s “reporting”. Who said Griffin was getting paid from the school?
hymen utters: “People don’t volunteer to pay someone else’s $300k+ mortgage for nothing.”
Who is paying Griffin’s mortgage? where do YOU get that nugget from. Maybe Griffin inherited some money from his family? possible? maybe his family gave him money for the house? maybe he has a job you have no knowledge about? Aren’t these more reasonable that to think this lonely little blogger in Alaska is getting paid in some great liberal conspiracy to discredit Palin? how freaking wacky are you all?

  38. Poor shrieking Proud Liberal. For some reason, Proud Liberal likes telling lies about Sarah Palin to attack her family, but screams and wets itself when facts, clearly referenceable and researched FACTS, are told about itself and its fellow liberals.

  39. AJ LYnch says:

Dan- you have your own goons?
The question, of course, is how was Griffin living and who was paying him?
Could he have been paid through the “Health Clinic” payroll so the liberal owners could hide the “campaign contribution to Obama”? And did his payroll expenses add to the clinic’s costs which may have led to a higher expense reimbursement to the clinic from the govt? [that would be criminal fraud IMO]

  40. Sarah and “Proud Liberal,” based on my careful reading of this post, let me summarize the situation briefly:
    1. Jesse Griffin’s “employer of record” is Puffin Heights Montessori school.
    2. Employees of that school told Dan that they have never seen Griffin at the school.
    3. Former Alaska resident Catherine New was once listed as “primary contact” for the Puffin Heights school.
    4. The Puffin Heights school was apparently bankrupted by IRS tax judgments and reorganized circa 2002, with “Yolanda Baber” listed as head of the LLC.
    5. Veteran investigator Joseph Culligan has been unable to verify the existence of a “Yolanda Baber” in Anchorage.
    6. Meanwhile, Catherine New and her husband, Eligio White, have prospered in the health-care industry and are “progressive” activists whose business recently received $4.3 million of stimulus money.
All of these things may be entirely unrelated, or have an innocent explanation. However, based on the available public records and phone interviews conducted by Dan, it now appears that Jesse’s employment by the Puffin Heights school was a “no-show” job. If Jesse never set foot at the school, what service did he provide? Was this, perhaps, a way of putting an anti-Palin blogger on the payroll of a “progressive” activist?
As Dan says, he has tried to contact Catherine New by phone and has sent e-mails to Griffin, seeking explanations. No crime is alleged. Maybe there are relevant facts that have been overlooked, and all of this may be perfectly innocent. However, until Dan published this post, nobody knew anything about Griffin and Puffin Heights and the apparent link to Clinica Sierra Vista.
Dan’s “just asking questions,” you see.

  41. Sarah says:

Why does someone have to be paying him? Maybe he doesn’t get paid for blogging. Maybe he has some capital that makes it so he doesn’t need to work. I think we might be jumping to conclusions because we WANT to believe in a conspiracy. Well, not me personally. The point is that I haven’t seen any evidence that there actually IS any conspiracy. Just some “suspicious” associations with *ooohhh* politically active liberals in Alaska… that proves nothing.
And before anyone asks why he didn’t just plunk down the $300,000 for the house if he has it, instead of entering into a mortgage, he might have gotten a sweet mortgage deal where he pays very little interest — and pays less in interest than he gets in returns by investing the money. I don’t know, but it’s just as plausible as the flimsy conspiracy theory Dan has put forth. This is kind of funny and I don’t think it’s going to go anywhere.

  42. Barbara says:

    ND 30,
Proud lib sure has his panties in a wad. It is amusing.

  43. Mikey NTH says:

alwaysfiredup: Perhaps ‘digging up dirt’ is ‘making up dirt’, with a patsy to take the fall when the smears come to light. Nothing really new in politics.

  44. angstly yours says:

Dan: I really do like your blog. This story has been interesting in an unfolding mystery way. But, I’m not sure I can draw the conclusions that others want to draw. Are we waiting for another shoe to drop, or is this the limit of the apparent conspiracy?

  45. And Proud Lib is desperately shrieking and whining to avoid the obvious fact — that Jesse Griffin lied.
Why won’t Proud Liberal admit that?
Is Proud Liberal afraid to admit that Jesse Griffin LIED when he said he worked at a school?
Is Proud Liberal afraid to admit that Jesse Griffin LIED when he said that “the school had received harassing calls”?
Is Proud Liberal afraid to admit that Proud Liberal LIED when it supported all of Jesse Griffin’s stories?
Why doesn’t Proud Liberal support the truth? Why does Proud Liberal constantly LIE?

  46. Sarah says:

RS McCain — I got all that. I thought there must be something else I was missing. I appreciate the summary. Thanks, cheers.

  47. Proud Liberal says:

where did this information come from Dan? Don’t you owe it to your readers to tell us where you, or Joseph Culligan, got this information from? What is the source? How old is the source? I think that is somewhat relevant wont you say?
    Name:JESSE RAY GRIFFIN
    Gender: Male
    SSN: xxxx
    Company: PUFFIN HEIGHTS MONTESSORI SCHOOL
    Address: 1000 W 20TH AVE, ANCHORAGE AK 99503-1715

    FEIN: 92-0157340

  48. Proud Liberal says:

Oh North Dallas, your posts are ALWAYS inane and I will not even justify them with constant responses. But let’s just take your first question and let me ask you, Where did Jesse Griffin lie when he said he worked at the school? What is your source? Why do you assume he did? Where, when and to whom did Jesse say he worked at the school. Once you provide that information to me we can proceed. Ok?

  49. ManUpDan says:

I think those getting POLITICALLY paid or stroked are Dan and McCain. Ya all can read Dan’s Tweets Palin’s attorney Van Flein contacted him personally. Now why would that be & what did Flein write Dan or moreover PROMISE that would keep a full grown man up all night chasing 4 year old blog entries and eight year old job histories on a nobody like Gryphen? Vindictiveness is a Palin MO. The fact McCain is involved with his personal relationship with Palin’s new ghostwriter Lynn Vincent, is like DAYMN, people keep up with what is really going on YOU ARE ALL PAWNS!!!
Gryph has been putting up stupid threads for months on Palin with not so much as the word BOO from Palin. It is now as Palin desperately needs press is there a war of words going on. Everyone involved is acting like a DUMBASS fool for Palin’s agenda.
When someone gets hurt, when an innocent child gets caught in the middle of crossfire from a lunatic overwhelmed with emotion on one side or the other YOU ALL ARE GOING DOWN not Palin. Will it be worth your freedom, an innocent life to bump your audience by 10%?
Gryph is an ass clown, he is a hangeron to true AK Bloggers searching for truth and better government. Gryph is a LIAR a COWARD a SHT STARTER who cannot clean up his own mess. He is the one who leaked what his occupation was. He is the who could have taken a valid complaint to a registered practicing attorney for threats made against him but instead LOVING HIS 15 MINUTES kept sending snarky NANANANANA Email’s to Dan & McCain raising the insanity. Gryph is the one who is playing coy posting BEGGING subliminally for members from Mudflats to reward the hardships that have fallen on him of his own making. Grph is a punk ass btch in my opinion who BTW trying to state Levi’s RadarOne interview justifies him. As if….B*S* Gryph knew Levi would ever say anything about Palin’s marriage this week. Gryph got lucky Levi said anything. Gryph knows only what scraps he gets from Zaki or is overheard elsewhere. No one goes to Gryph with exclusives NO ONE because Gryph is a NO ONE that was until Dan/McCain made him into something yet still what comes from Gryph’s fingers or mouth is nothing but self endorsement and petty, weird fixation on Palin;s womb which is what is DISTURBING!!!

  50. Proud Liberal says:

“I got all that. I thought there must be something else I was missing.”
You’re not missing anything Sarah. Just like I predicted, the “story” is a big bust. There ain’t no there, there. The right seems consumed by conspiracy theories that stretch one’s imagination. The Birthers. The Death Panels. and now Jesse.
BTW, when did Jesse buy that house? He ONLY became important, if you believe this conspiracty crap, when Sarah Palin was selected to run as McCain’s VP. He had NO importance before then right? Alaska is a solidly Republican State right? No need to spend money on him there when you has swing states all over the place. So, how did Jesse “pay his mortgage” before the summer of ’08 when Sarah got selected? hmmmm? Does anyone on the right have half a brain cell? Anyone?

  51. Gina says:

So is Puffin Heights the same school that used to have Griffin’s picture on its website?

  52. JustOneMan says:

  53. Proud Liberal says:

Stacy said, “Jesse Griffin’s “employer of record” is Puffin Heights Montessori school.”
According to whom? What is the source of this information? When, where and to whom did Jesse Griffin say he worked at the Puffin Heights School?

  54. Sarah says:

North Dallas, your online persona is a parody, right? I almost missed that — previously I thought you were a conservative but now I see that you’re trying to make conservatives look crazed, illogical, hateful, angry, and racist.
Verrrrry subtle but I’m on to ya.
Good work holding up that mirror. Glad you’re with us. :D

  55. Proud Liberal says:

Stacy again, ” However, based on the available public records and phone interviews conducted by Dan, it now appears that Jesse’s employment by the Puffin Heights school was a “no-show” job.”
again can you back this up? No-show job means something. What evidence do you have that supports that contention? Any? or are we “just asking questions” again?

  56. I wonder if Proud Liberal is posting from Alaska by any chance. Someone should check that IP address.
In any case, Dan seems to have crawled up under Proud Liberals’ skin and the resultant squealing like a six year old girl is more than a tad entertaining.
    Heh.
Could that be because Dan is in closer proximity to Proud Liberal than what PL might want to admit?
Asking questions is fun dontcha know?

  57. PROUD LIBERAL WRITES: “where did this information come from Dan? Don’t you owe it to your readers to tell us where you, or Joseph Culligan, got this information from? What is the source? How old is the source?”
That information is all public record, PL, and is available to anyone who knows how to search for it. Some people might be surprised to learn that there are online research tools other than Google. But experienced researchers have used such tools since before there were such things as blogs.

  58. Sarah says:

And JustOneMan, you too – a parody? I vote yes. Trying to make conservatives seem obsessed with homosexuals and homosexuality!!! I mean did you really invoke President Obama’s RECTUM???????? Great job!! Ok I get it now. This is really a LIBERAL site trying to make conservatives look silly. Don’t I feel dumb for thinking that this was a place for serious conservatives to express themselves on the issues? I was fooled but now I get it.
So this whole website is a liberal conspiracy?? Now that I’m in on the secret, can I find out who pays Dan? Is it the DNC? Acorn?
And why didn’t you guys let on sooner that we’re all on the same side? LOL

  59. upinak says:

    Watch the liberals freak.
Aye Chi… I have a feeling it is someone in Alaska. shhhh don’t spoke it. it is outing itself.

  60. Proud Liberal says:

This is so illogical it hurts. the “question” is raised, how is Griffin paying for his mortgage? Of course we are led to beieve that he has a no-show job, funded by big bad progressives, to get him to say nasty things about the Quitta from Wassila. But wait…. she only became the VP pick in the summer of 2008. How did he pay for his mortgage before that? Records show he bought the house in 2005? There would be no reason for “progressives” to pay him for political activity in 2005-2008 would there? An Alaska blogger in a very Republican state?
Of course there is no logic… just “asking questions” as Stacy says. Can always depend on the ignorance and stupidty of the wingnut population to fill in the blanks. Like Obama was born in Kenya. The gov’t wants to kill grandma…. etc. etc.

  61. upinak says:

Dan Reihl.. liberal conservationist conspiracy theorist for conservatives?
    Whoa…
Dan, how do you Feel about this?
/// And I am from pluto, drilling for methane on uranus.

  62. Proud Liberal says:

Stacy, “That information is all public record, PL, and is available to anyone who knows how to search for it. ”
that is all fine and good, but you didn’t answer my question. Where is YOUR source that Griffin said he worked for the school? How old is the information? In what context was it given? Do you have an answer or not?

  63. Lala says:

    JustOneMan, that was funny.

  64. Proud Liberal says:

“Don’t I feel dumb for thinking that this was a place for serious conservatives ”
serious conservatives? I think they call that an oxymoron. Or in the case of North Dallas, moron would suffice.

  65. Sarah says:

    you mean moran?

  66. Josh Painter says:

“true AK Bloggers” throw Jesse under the bus.
    And so it goes…
    – JP

  67. Proud Liberal says:

I wonder if Palin’s attorneys are paying either Dan or Stacy? Just asking questions.

  68. Barry says:

“he might have gotten a sweet mortgage deal where he pays very little interest”
Sarah, perhaps he is related to Senator Dodd(D).
“Just like I predicted, the “story” is a big bust.”
Right PL. It’s not a story unless it was about the divorce of the Palin’s, or the birth of the Palin’s baby…

  69. Pyous says:

Dude, you lost whatever credibility that was left of you.
    ***
What is Dan Riehl’s next project?
Outing and exposing “trolls” or critics who post in his threads?
Try me. I must be paid by someone, of course!

  70. Patrick Bateman says:

Wow, a bunch of inuendo tying a guy who said something mean about Sarah Palin, *possibly kinda-sorta maybe* to OTHER people who said something mean about Sarah Palin. They guy has a mortgage you can’t track? Do you even know how to do a title search?

  71. Proud Liberal says:

“Right PL. It’s not a story unless it was about the divorce of the Palin’s, or the birth of the Palin’s baby…”
nah, I think the story about Palin lying about “death panels” was a story. How about you?

  72. ManUpDan says:

Liberal, I HATE this stupid back and forth with these three guys but in case anyone of importance is reading, question RIGHT BACK AT GRYPH where are those big ass stories Gryphen said would come out last week? Levi, being asked about Palin’s marriage was an absolute fluke for Gryphen. The ONLY reason Levi was asked is because of the nonsense going on here. There is no way Levi would have been asked off the cuff without Gryphen posting this crap so EPIC FAILURE on Gryph’s fronting HE KNEW there was tension in Palin’s marriage.
Really, lets ask why Gryphen even cares if there is martial discourse or not anyway? I know why. It is because Gryphen wanted to have an exclusive, his name dropped in the big boy press like AKM, Zaki, Moore does. His personal physical and relationship interest in the Palin’s IS creepy.

  73. SacTownMan says:

Daily Koz is more than one moonbat short today!
    Sarah asks;
    “Don’t I feel dumb…”
I would answer “Not nearly as much as those of us forced to endure reading your childish and meandering posts!!”
Thanks for dropping in, now go do all of the adults here a favor and crawl back under your rock!!

  74. Proud Liberal says:

Pyous and Sarah, how much are you guys getting paid by Soros? I want to make sure I’m not being shortchanged?

  75. Proud Liberal says:

Stacy? any response to my request for the source material for stating that Griffin claimed to have worked for that school? when did he say that? to who? in what context? I’m sure we all would like to know.

  76. Sarah says:

Soros pays me ONE MILLION DOLLARS. (in your best Dr. Evil Voice)

  77. jane says:

Wow – the liberal loons sure are riled up today. It appears that Dan is “just asking questions.” Isn’t that what Griffin claimed to be doing?

  78. Proud Liberal says:

    bitch

  79. SacTownMan says:

“Pyous and Sarah, how much are you guys getting paid by Soros? I want to make sure I’m not being shortchanged?”
Gee according to your wife last night that would be you penis size!!

  80. Dr. K says:

If there is “there” there, then why are you so worked up about it?
I think the libtard doth protest too much.

  81. Proud Liberal says:

hey, man sack, that’s pretty funny. not bad for a wingnut. kudos

  82. Sarah says:

SacTown – someone FORCED you to read my posts? Really? Geez, sorry. They’re supposed to be optional and not intended to be used that way. I hope you escape from wherever you are soon.

  83. Pyous says:

    MISSION ACCOMPLISHED?
Rumors has it that Sarah Palin is eagerly reading this blog to satisfy her vindictive self. She just tip jarred, and promised a job if it fits into her future plans.

  84. Proud Liberal says:

“If there is “there” there, then why are you so worked up about it?”
because I despise thuggery. Dan published the information about the school and some “progressives” associated with it knowing that they will be harassed as a result. And more despicable he brought into it Griffin’s step-son who has NOTHING to do with this story and Dan gave out his name and some supposed arrests he had in the past. What did this kid do to deserve that? Nothing. It was just a way to hurt people around Griffin – fuck it if the kid is innocent. This is war right? I find that reprehensible. Don’t you?

  85. ManUpDan says:

“Rumors has it that Sarah Palin is eagerly reading this blog to satisfy her vindictive self”
She certainly reads Gryphen’s blog. Ya know that is how all this sht got started. Palin is suppose to be so freakin busy working for Alaskans from outside the govs office now that she is FREE from being POLITICALLY CORRECT and how many days counting has she stepped out doing anything in AK but attacking a dumbass bloggers rumors over her marriage.

  86. Pyous says:

“Pyous and Sarah, how much are you guys getting paid by Soros? I want to make sure I’m not being shortchanged?” –Proud Liberal
Soros has big hands, he reach is far an wide across the globe, including India. He was here in my country some months ago for some philanthropy work. I saw his interview on a television channel and promptly made an appointment. The details of our interaction are supposed to be strictly confidential.

  87. ManUpDan says:

HEY FOR YOU HERE READING FROM MUDFLATS why don’t you just tell samper to STFU while you tell Gryph to also too. WATB both of them.

  88. Sarah says:

ManUp said: how many days counting has she stepped out doing anything in AK but attacking a dumbass bloggers rumors over her marriage.
She’s fulfilling the suggestion she made as she resigned from her “title” that she might campaign for Democrats.

  89. Sarah says:

Looks like you’re the only one doing this for free, PL… Sorry you didn’t get in on the conspiracy with us.

  90. “But let’s just take your first question and let me ask you, Where did Jesse Griffin lie when he said he worked at the school? What is your source? Why do you assume he did? Where, when and to whom did Jesse say he worked at the school.”
Oh, this is almost too easy.
    http://www.riehlworldview.com/carnivorous_conservative/2009/08/why-did-jesse-quit-the-kindergarten.html
“Gryph is an ass clown, he is a hangeron to true AK Bloggers searching for truth and better government.”
And under the bus he goes. Too bad all of you liberals were quoting and citing him as part of your little cabal mere days ago.

  91. Dr. K says:

Perhaps they deserve to be harassed.
They seem to be less than honest in their dealings with the government.

  92. “because I despise thuggery.”
Incorrect. You support and endorse thuggery, violence, and lying about people because your Barack Obama does — when it’s him doing it.
In contrast, show facts about a paid puppet of Barack Obama who lies constantly and whose lies were told in a direct attempt to attack Sarah Palin, and you scream “thuggery”.
No wonder liberals like yourself are dependent on welfare.

  93. Pyous says:

Post Twitter Quit Syndrome I suppose.

  94. Ran says:

    Dan
    Thanks man.
Heh. One would assume a full moon.

  95. Pyous says:

Since Sarah had gone hiding behind an occasional FB post, her followers are left clinging to anything that keeps them going, like obsessing over an anti-Palin pseudonymous blogger or revering over her FB page which has a nutty health care message.

  96. Isabella says:

“Perhaps they deserve to be harassed. They seem to be less than honest in their dealings with the government.”
ROTFFLaughing, Tried, Convicted and Sentenced on a “Seem(s) to be” from a post on some blog. This is why America is fcked. Lame ass read the headline retards like Special K there. Yup Yup you all go on over to the 20th Avenue and do’em some justice for MAYBE POSSIBLY PERHAPS being late on taxes and when those justice keepers come a callin to lynch you next for not leaving a 15% tip better not btch…even if they hang you with a new rope.

  97. Meanwhile, Sarah, glad you’re showing your true colors. BTW, we’re aware of what liberals like yourself call “intelligent discourse”.

No wonder people like yourself and Proud Liberal are terrified of addresses; you’re scared to death of people doing to you what you and your fellow Obama Party members have been doing for years to anyone who they don’t like.
Next up, more killing of policemen, just like your party supports and endorses with Bill Ayers and Barack Obama.

Why is it that liberals seem to think that anyone who disagrees with them is stupid?

  101. SacTownMan says:

    Well Sarah when I DO read your posts the only place I can think of escaping to is the old Disney classic;
    http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0072951/

  102. Isabella says:

North Dallas Thirty you are a DUMBASS!!!

  103. Why is it that liberals seem to think that anyone who disagrees with them is stupid?
Isn’t it amazing? They’re just like toddlers who scream about how their parents are “stupid” and “dumb” when their parents won’t let them do whatever they want.

  104. SKH says:

Dan Riehl and his audience must be thinking that they found Joe the Blogger of the left.
    FAIL

  105. the chef of sandwiches says:

I wonder why Jesse and his ex are divorced?
    Just askin’ questions, you know.

  106. John says:

Ha – the trolls are swarming this. Alexrod must be sending out money orders like a mad man to get them in here! I hope this is heading toward a bigger story than we could have imagined, and even if this is the end of it, it was and is fun watching all you Jesse supporters paid by Axelrod give Dan examples of Lib logic to use if he writes a book one day about the warped mind of a liberal. Thank you for entertaining me! Please keep it up, I am sure Dan loves the traffic and the fact that it makes more and more of us hit the tip jar. Ha Ha Ha! PALIN 2012 (I bet even the thought of Palin as President in three years just caused every troll here to have a spike in their blood pressure – how Pavlovian of me).

  107. KingShamus says:

Dan Riehl: You are the man.
    This is amazing work.

  108. Isabella says:

“Why is it that liberals seem to think that anyone who disagrees with them is stupid?”
You are like those little Nazi Skin Headed offspring on Maury’s sweeps week who are talking sht about those dirty rotten blooded Jews who mommy said are diseased, STUPID, need to be killed only to learn after talking smack they are sitting right next to someone who is Jewish. Every single time those little fckers eyes open wide and there is a hint of knowing mommy LIED HER FAT ASS OFF to scare & intimidate. There is a moment just a brief moment yet still a minute where even the most inbreed little sht ponders if people are really just people with different points of view….how old are you there Special K? Ya think you could try one time to consider if a LIBERAL is really a REPUBLICAN or an INDEPENDENT with a bad head day? Try it, you might learn something.

  109. “You are like those little Nazi Skin Headed offspring on Maury’s sweeps week who are talking sht about those dirty rotten blooded Jews who mommy said are diseased, STUPID, need to be killed only to learn after talking smack they are sitting right next to someone who is Jewish.”
You mean like the Obama Party’s very own Louis Farrakhan?
    http://www.adl.org/special_reports/farrakhan_own_words2/on_jews.asp
Or Barack Obama’s very own spiritual mentor and church that endorse and support Hamas, which says exactly what you are saying about Jews?

  110. When someone gets hurt, when an innocent child gets caught in the middle of crossfire from a lunatic overwhelmed with emotion on one side or the other YOU ALL ARE GOING DOWN not Palin.
LOL….so now you admit that leftist liberal Barack Obama supporters like yourself will start shooting at children if we dare to tell facts about you.
You know, that doesn’t surprise us. Your Barack Obama screams about bringing guns to a fight, punching back twice as hard, all these things; it seems once a Chicago thug, always a Chicago thug. Plus, given how your Barack Obama endorses terrorist organizations like Hamas at his church, plus people who firebomb houses with children in them like his pal Bill Ayers, it makes it obvious that children are just little bits of collateral damage to you.
Well, that and your undying support of infanticide.

  111. carolW says:

Dallas pushes Isabella right over the edge, musta been a bad hair day for Isabella.
On second thought, she said bad head day, that could work too.

  112. the chef of sandwiches says:

Jesse had a no show job at this “school” run by Mr. Whitee & Ms. New. As soon as this story started to pop all traces of Jesse are scrubbed from the school website.
I wonder if stimulus money (read: our taxes) is paying that $300K mortgage.
Nail this creep like an insect specimen.

  113. Isabella says:

The ONLY reason Obama is in power is because McCain chose a NARCISSISTIC VINDICTIVE ALL ABOUT ME PETTY DUMBASS to his ticket. Palin scared the living hell out of places in America that have not voted Democratic in years & life long Republicans to vote outside their party out of sheer terror of her ignorance.
Hell TWO DAYS before November election, in an unprecedented poll, the same company that gave Palin her 85% popularity rating had Obama http://www.haysresearch.com/OC110208.htm less than 3 points behind her ticket in Alaska.
Even those who said they liked her, knew her for 20 years’ like her bestest friends http://rawstory.com/news/2008/ABC_Three_of_four_Palin_friends_0909.html and mother in law http://www.nydailynews.com/news/politics/republican_race/2008/08/30/2008-08-30_sarah_palins_motherinlaw_uncertain_about.html WOULD NOT confirm VOTE FOR HER!!!

I went thru every post mentioning Palin at Immoral Minority from March ’08 (when the blog archives start) to Palin’s selection as McCain’s running mate. Most of the posts were of a critical nature occasionally they were neutral.
That seems to contradict your assertions as there was no flicking of the switch from positive to negative.
(I tried to post excerpts and links but the commenting tool wouldn’t let me I have saved them in a text file but I am sure that Mr. Riehl can pull them for himself too.)

  116. Isabella says:

READ WITH COMPREHENSION ever, do you?
The QUOTE is “when an innocent child gets caught in the middle of crossfire from a lunatic overwhelmed with emotion on one side or the other”
WHEN A CHILD FROM EITHER SIDE did you pick up on that? No you did not cause all of you freaks are over the line with this lunacy & posting addresses where children are common and unknowingly centered in the midst of someone trying to be famous is IN DANGER!!!
BTW eff off with the Obama slams at me I think he sucks ass as a president the ONLY reason I voted for him is because of Palin’s lack of character and being thisclose to nuke codes. He was the lessor of two idiots.

  117. Dr. K says:

Isabella: You Lose. You are a prime example of the foul-mouthed lefties who wonder why no one listens to them.

  118. Zurk says:

You’re a joke, Riehl. You looked up bunch of public records and added some incoherent conspiracy theories. You have no idea what your “substantive” story is.
This really is moronic, and the lameness of it has nothing to do with politics. It’s just ignorant, incompetent, and malicious. Just a couple examples of the stupidity:
    1) If the stuff on Joe’s blog is supposed to come from Griffin’s voter registration records, maybe, just maybe, the reason no one’s seen him at the montessori school in eight years could be that he filled out the voter registration card in 1998 and hasn’t worked there in over eight years. You can’t even articulate what your conspiracy theory is here.
    2) Quote: “the location of the school can also be connected to…[a] married couple.” WTF are you trying to say when you write that people are connected to the location of a school? That they lived in the city where the school is located? That the school is in Alaska and they used to live in Alaska? What you have written here is absolute dumbfuckery.
    3) You look up his ex-wife’s name and post it on the Internet. Even you have no clue why you did this. I’ll tell you: you and Griffin are two peas in a pod. You both are malicious dirtbags who get a kick out of hurting people.
Your claim that McCain edited this for you is enough to ruin whatever reputation he has as a journalist. This is what journalists call a “notebook dump.” It happens when a reporter is so ignorant that he can’t make any sense out of the random information he’s collected, so he just files it all and leaves it to the readers to figure it out.
You really are a moron and a dirtbag. And I would say that no matter what politics you claimed.

  119. Dr. K says:

So, Zurk, when exaclty are you going to denounce Griffin for anything he said about Palin?
    Just asking questions, you know?

  120. carolW says:

Gosh I wish Organizing for America would assign us a really clever smack talkin Lib.

  121. JSF says:

Great work. Don’t forget the rest of the path that Woodward/bernstein started:
    “Follow the Money,”
Too bad CNN doesn’t have you and RS. They would actually beat Fox news once in a Blue Moon. Heh.
Question: How much of this leads back to the Lower 48 and Chicago? Remember, whenever Obama had any opponents strange how closed files would open up…..

Biy it got quiet. Must be the trolls are planning another line of attack.

Dan, is there any way to find out what this clinic did with the 4.3 million they raked in? I would imagine that the “stimulus money” (our money) forked out all over the country should have good accounting oversight and if not, why not? 4.3 mil, I want to know how many people they hired with that money and if they did not hire anyone, why not? Was that not the reason for the stimulus, to shore up unemployment? Show us the receipts clinica sierra vista…what did you do with all that money?

  124. Chad says:

This is how I understand the train of thought here. Jesse Griffin, a blogger who had previously been positively inclined towards Alaska governor Sarah Palin, suddenly became anti-Palin when she was selected as John McCain’s running mate. As evidence of that we are shown “public records” that have as his employer of record a Montessori school owned or previously owned by two liberal activists with a history of tax problems. One of which is now involved with a company that recieved 4.3 million dollars in grants from the federal government. No one at the school appears to know Griffin and state that he hasn’t worked there for at least 8 years. We are also told that Griffin has a $330,000 mortgage and no one knows how it is being paid.
From this we are supposed to assume that Jesse Griffin has been provided with a no show job by people associated with the Obama administration to smear Sarah Palin.
    1. The record source that shows Griifin’s employer of record isn’t sourced. It has been speculated that it is his voter registration, but he first registered (or at least voted) in 1997. That would be 12 years ago a lot of people change jobs in 12 years. There is a voter registration at webofdeception.com they appear to be 2 separate documents.
    2. The record supposedly showing the house mortgage is actually a Tax assessment. 330,000 dollars is the 2009 assessed value. It doesn’t say anything about the amount of the mortgage.
    3. Griffin didn’t suddenly turn against Palin. I went thru all of his posts from where his archives begin (Mar 2008) to the day Palin was announced as McCain’s running mate. There were 4 semi positive ones. The rest were negative to neutral at best. The very first post about Palin indicates that he has not been a fan. That is when he offers some sympathy about Trig having Down’s syndrome.
Don’t believe me read them yourselves.

  125. narciso says:

And that poll was 15 points from the actual result on November 5th, so try again.Consistency
is the hallmark of effective polling. Seeing as Gryphen once had no doubts about Trig’s
parentage, than became a vile contemptible slanderer, who’s to say how true that statement is.

  126. Greg says:

Of course Proud Liberal was just as incensed when Joe The Plumber had everything but his underwear examined and reported on for asking a question that exposed the New Messiah’s hidden agenda to give free money taken from rich successful people and giving it to the less fortunate. Right?…………………….Right?……………………………Right?…………………Right?……………………….Right?…………………..Right?…………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………..????????????????

  127. mark l. says:

does this mean jesse can’t be potus?

  128. Greg says:

oops!!! Sorry folks! Didn’t know it would do that. My bad! Right………?

  129. Barry says:

“nah, I think the story about Palin lying about “death panels” was a story. How about you?”
Considering your hero is on record supporting single payer government healthcare, and his advisers all believe that rationed healthcare will require making choices about who is most valuable to the state (hint: it’s not the old or the downs syndrome children), “death panels” will clearly be part of the govco plan. They will not call them that of course. They’ll give the panel a fancy name like “wonderful lifestle panel” in the liberal tradition of naming things the opposite of what they really do.
Palin hit the nail on the head. Govenment healthcare is a death panel.

  130. Dantes says:

The libs posting here are having an embarassing nervous breakdown, bless their little sensitive souls. Dan, without a doubt, I believe you are on the verge of uncovering a huge racket here, Griffin is one of the wider cabal. And linked to Obama. Well done.

  131. Xerocky says:

Follow the money Dan. Good Job.

  132. Xerocky says:

“It is now as Palin desperately needs press is there a war of words going on. Everyone involved is acting like a DUMBASS fool for Palin’s agenda. ”
Palin needs press? Do you have any idea how Fucking stupid you sound?

  133. Dantes says:

Given the school’s “difficulties” with various government agaencies in the past, and Grifin’s so-called employment with and/or that school, it seems likey that the FBI or the IRS would be interested.
I also suspect some of the other Alaskan Blogger Cartel members have similar links, potentially illegal funding from similar sources.

  134. Dr. K says:

Looks like the slugs crawled back under their rock. Guess somebody called them and told them to stop.

  135. Dantes says:

That poll Isabella, as you know, was out about 25% !!!!!!!!
In fact McCain/Palin won by a huge amount.
    Talking of polls:
    Gallup July Healthcare: 56/33% Support/Oppose = +23%
    Gallup August Healthcare: 35/36% Support/Oppose = -1%
Haha, guess Death Panels are rightly scaring everyone, no wonder our local troll’s heads are exploding!
Of course Rasmussen, is probably more accurate, at least in terms of those on the verge of deciding: 53/42% = -11%
    Waterloo indeed.

  136. Peach says:

Trig is only around sixteen months old, yet Palin has no problem thrusting him into a discussion about elderly care. That is even less of an appropriate place for little Trig to be than when he was trotted out on stage, in front of bright lights and television cameras, during the McCain campaign.
I didn’t realize Liberals believe downs babies should be locked away in closets. And if pimping children is bad then Barry and Michelle ought to quite trotting their designer clad daughters out for ice cream and hot dog photo ops every chance they can.

  137. Bob says:

“What made Jesse Griffin change as regards Sarah Palin? Could it be a failed marriage and troubled family life in the face of a family that seems so contented, successful and genuinely loving and giving as the Palins do?”
Hey, Dan, suck on this latest tidbit from Levi Johnston:
    http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2009/08/11/levi-johnston-palin-resig_n_256330.html
“In an interview with Radar magazine, Levi Johnston agreed that marital problems were a factor in former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin’s resignation.
“Shes taking the money, you know,” he said. Asked if Palin and her husband had marital problems, he said, “Oh yeah, they have been from day one” and affirmed that he believed it was part of reason she stepped down. Johnston would not go into any further details, saying only that he didn’t mean to imply that either of them cheated.”
Since this is Riehl World View, then I say that a denial that either of them cheated actually means just the opposite. I used to not give a s*#t about Sarah Palin, but now I’ll be sure to post every juicy tidbit for the amusement of Dan and his crew. I bet that one tell-all book from Levi could totally demolish all of Dan’s (Dan? Dan who?) most prodigious efforts to avenge Palin.
I saw that Levi is getting to be quite a big star on the talk show circuit. Dan, it’s too bad that you’ll never be invited on any of those shows or have your picture in any of those tabloids. Why, in comparison, it’s almost like you don’t exist at all. LOL.

  138. Chad says:

I guess I would count as one of the slugs, although I hate being associated with most of the others, I haven’t had anything else to say because no one has addressed my points. So far this is all supposition. It could still turn into something substantial but the threads have to actually get tied together at some point. That hasn’t happened yet.

  139. rrpjr says:

Great work, Dan. Keep at it. Consider the shrieking from the Left as a kind of moral support.

  140. Barry says:

“but now I’ll be sure to post every juicy tidbit for the amusement of Dan and his crew”
Well gee, Bob, if Levi says there are marital problems I guess it must be true. For that matter, very few, if any, marriage doesn’t have some problem. Bob, is your last name Griffin?
It must really suck to be a leftie, having to support the griffins and levi’s. But I appreciate the show, I always have liked watching contortionists.
Oh, and Bob, my cat told me you were born retarded. Any truth to that juicy tidbit?

  141. KJGL says:

Has anyone else been hearing that the little girl at Obama’s Town Hall today was a plant? Supposedly her mother is a Dem Party operative. Obama is unbelievable, literally and figuratively. He’s also either dumb, arrogant, or both, to think he’s got enough trust from the American people right now to get away with staging events. People are not buying the words of their leaders anymore. I watched a couple of the other town halls today and people don’t care what Sarah Palin or any other pol is saying–they’re reading their questions straight from the pages of the bill.

  142. Yup, turns out they’ve got a very good link demonstrating that the little girl is a plant.
    http://www.abovetopsecret.com/forum/thread490870/pg1
Meanwhile, Bob, the hilarious thing about that quote is the following:
    1) You claimed before the Palins were divorcing. Now you’re just backpedaling and claiming they have “marital troubles”. FAIL.
    2) You claimed before the Palins were having affairs. Now your own source has made it clear that isn’t the case. EPIC FAIL.

  143. Mrs. Dorothy Asset Allocation says:

oh my god, no right side mirror ?
burn that man at the stake I say, he’s evil….EVIL !!!
wow, why would someone in maryland go so far to dig up dirt on someone and publish it on the internet ?
you are one sadistic son of a bitch mr rheil.

  144. Logan 6 says:

“What if the left started publishing the phone numbers of anybody associated with Sarah Palin.”
Are you really this dumb, “proud liberal” or do you just act it on this blog. Remember what the MSM and the Left (sorry I repeat myself) did to Joe The Plumber and not one of you”progressive” creeps said one word about it…ain’t payback a bitch !!!

  145. Logan 6 says:

“I saw that Levi is getting to be quite a big star on the talk show circuit.”
Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha…..this is what happens when people like “bob” think the National Enquirer is a hard-hitting news source….give us another one, ‘bob!!

  146. Pinandpuller says:

    isabella
In case you hadn’t noticed-it was Obama vs McCain.

  147. unseen says:

    Dan,
If I’m reading you right. You have laid out a case for Obama being directly implicated in the anti-palin smears from day one of her VP run including the attacks on her children. Jesse was paid off to write what they told him to write, the clinics were given tax payer money by Obama for a job well done.
hmmm…. very interesting too bad the FBI is in Obama’s pocket at the moment. However a civil suit could be brought by Palin if any connection between Jesse and “his well funded” pals can be made of libel. this is very big news. hopefully others will take up the chanse. The hunt is on watson.

  148. GoGetEmInvestigativeBloggers says:

Keep digging Dan and all others! Eventually, your turn over enough rocks, a bunch of fake liberals(ie fascist scum) come crawling out into the light of day.
“proud liberal” may have been true many years ago, but today, the term “liberal” stands for no dissent allowed, fake astroturfing by David Axelrod and criminal from France, convicted of insider trading like George Soros behaving as Puppet Master to Obama.
What is it like to be supporting such scum? Soros, criminal rakes in another billion during American crisis, yet Obama says nothing about him, demands nothing from him and yet continues to demonize the American public at-large.

  149. cindi says:

For all of you who assume Dan is in someone’s pocket, has a witch hunt out on Griff. You don’t know Dan at all. Dan is all about being fair. However he is NOT about allowing lies to remain lies. What has been presented in this post, are simply fact’s. If you read into those fact’s and make a connection of all gathered information, into a bad conspiracy theory, that’s your problem. Right now as the blog reads, it’s kind of like 1+1+1+1=+++++++, the total has yet to be given.
lmao with regard’s to Griff’s X-wifes information being posted. Are you nuts? No such information was given by Dan or anyone else.
Hope you had a good “SNAP” Dan!

  150. Bluedog AK says:

Interesting approach. Obsess about some nobody, write allegations of a crime before actually discovering any evidence of a crime, and attempt to cover your ass by saying “Just asking.”
His mistake was using anonymous sources, and yet you wrote this:
“…the Puffin Heights Montessori School in Anchorage Alaska, whose current on site employees, as confirmed through multiple phone interviews, have no knowledge of him at the work location, claiming no individual named Jesse Griffin has been present at the site in any way for at least the past eight years.”
Names? Titles? Quotes? I see absolutely no reason to consider you any more credible than he is. Certainly you’re a worse writer. Most of this makes no sense.
What made Jesse change? Perhaps it’s just this simple: the same things that made me and another 30 percent of Alaska realize that Palin liked being governor WAY more than she actually liked governing. She lost interest. She wants money. She quit. She’s OK with that, so maybe you should find something important to do on the East Coast or wherever you live.
Try alien abductions or that whole wacky birther thing next. At least those are entertaining conspiracies.

  151. cindi says:

What alligations? They are fact’s gathered. Nobody has linked them, except in their own mind. Speaking of which, IF YOU were open minded you would not find them to be alligations. Remember what they say about assume.

  152. CJHill says:

It’s an interesting story, Dan. Thanks for bringing it out to both you and Mr. McCain.
Hey, ‘Proud liberal’ and ‘ManUpDan’? Thanks for the comic relief. You guys are pretty funny.
    cjh

  153. CLEEVN says:

I’ve been following the Griffin story since the beginning. Looks like you are getting somewhere. Its all there in plain sight. Now, all you have to do is get the cold hard paper on the money trail.

  154. Relax says:

What is happening to our country? The extremist on both sides need to move to sepperate islands and leave the us for normal people. Who would have thought 6 months of a democrat in power would cause so much hate. You would think after 8 years of Bush messing up our country people would at least give the next guy a shot to fix his mess.
There is no story here. Why does everyone think if it’s in writting and it’s on the web it’s true. This guy makes statements and not 1 person did their own research to see if he is telling the truth.
Extremism is bad for everyone and in all forms.

  155. xerocky says:

” I think we might be jumping to conclusions because we WANT to believe in a conspiracy.”
Sarah, you do understand that the man has gone around saying that Palin faked Trigs birth right? Do you understand the point of all of this? In the last year, the political left has been on a smear campaign rampage and unless you’re blind and morally bankrupt, it’s sickening.
You don’t have to love Joe the Plumber, but his right to ask the chosen one a question without having his personal business dug out and rifled through is rock solid, nobody should have to go through that.
Same with Sarah Palin, she’s been targeted over and over and over again. How many reporters did the NYT send to Alaska to dig up dirt on her compared to how many they sent to Chicago for the chosen one?? If you don’t like her politics fine, but that’s not what they did here.
What Dan is doing here is just dishing out some of the same, and Guess what? YOU and Proud Liberal don’t like it, do you??
Jessie Griffin is/was obsessed with bringing down Trig Palin, so you tell me who “wants to believe a conspiracy”.

  156. xerocky says:

  157. So are you saying Jesse fooled the nation by faking the Moon Landings in ’60s and ’70s?

  158. Proud Liberal says:

oh…. poor, poor Joe the Plumber somebody found out 1) his name isn’t Joe 2) he isn’t a plumber 3) he couldn’t possible afford the business he said he was going to buy 4) he didn’t pay his taxes and 5) he is a complete moron
the right props up this moron because they think he appeals the the “real Americans” in a cynical ploy to get people to vote against their own economic interests and you expect nobody to look into who exactly this Mensa candidate is? lol Please, give me a break.

  159. harkin says:

Jesse’s page is now just a cut and paste Palin attack site.
He’s cowering in fear because he’s experienced one percent the scrutiny that Sarah Palin has been subjected to daily over the past year. The big difference? Looks like he’s got stuff to hide while Palin deflected everything (so far) because it’s easier to defend yourself against lies while Jesse looks to have a whole tidal wave of truth headed towards his beach of comeuppance.
This is some of the most powerful karma I’ve seen in awhile. The msm would have a field day if this idiot was a conservative.

  160. Pablo says:

“Who is paying Griffin’s mortgage? where do YOU get that nugget from. Maybe Griffin inherited some money from his family? possible? maybe his family gave him money for the house? maybe he has a job you have no knowledge about? Aren’t these more reasonable that to think this lonely little blogger in Alaska is getting paid in some great liberal conspiracy to discredit Palin? how freaking wacky are you all?”
That makes more sense than the notion that Sarah Palin isn’t her son’s mother. There are questions, and questions need answers. Just ask Jesse Griffin. You see, he’s all dug into the personal life of a fellow Alaskan private citizen so it’s only fitting that he get the same sort of attention.
    Enjoy the sauce, gander.

  161. Mrs. Dorothy Asset Allocation says:

Keep this crap up and Jesse will be owning your house.
What a couple of assclowns you and McCain are.

  162. Mark Cosnotski says:

That’s it? That’s the big investigation? Lame

  163. Geronimo says:

“…So, how did Jesse “pay his mortgage” before the summer of ’08…”
He was one of Angelo’s “Friends” and it’s Herb and Marion Sandler who make his payments.

  164. jamie w says:

It is pretty funny that, right after Griffin was “outed” as a kindergarten teacher, he made a couple of flag-waving posts about how much he loves teaching the little children, how proud he is of his job — and his commenters fell right in queue, telling him what a noble thing it was, how unusual and admirable that a male should take on such a socially and financially thankless job as teaching the little children.
So now we find he wasn’t teaching the cute little Alaskan kids at all? Jeez, what a tool.

  165. xerocky says:

“Why is it that liberals seem to think that anyone who disagrees with them is stupid?”
Because that’s what they were taught in College. They didn’t learn shit about the real world and how things work and get done or anything useful. But they did seem to pick up the idea that the United States is evil and must be stopped, er… “transformed”.

  166. xerocky says:

“You are like those little Nazi Skin Headed offspring on Maury’s sweeps week who are talking sht about those dirty rotten blooded Jews who mommy said are diseased, STUPID, need to be killed only to learn after talking smack they are sitting right next to someone who is Jewish. Every single time those little fckers eyes open wide and there is a hint of knowing mommy LIED HER FAT ASS OFF to scare & intimidate. There is a moment just a brief moment yet still a minute where even the most inbreed little sht ponders if people are really just people with different points of view.”
Isabella, you moron. You just outed yourself as a) a person who watches that show who therefore must be b) unemployed/unemplyable (gee I wonder why) and c) furthermore someone who believes that that show isn’t rigged, faked, and in all ways completely bullshit.
    Get a job.
