Update: Supposed to be recording a podcast with Mellissa Clouthier and others at 9:45 – will link when it's up … tomorrow, I assume.

Karl Rove tour de force: Went down the list of O's claims, point by point and demolished or called into question each one. Did it in about 7 minutes — could have been less if Bill O'Reilly hadn't kept interrupting him with inane comments. So it's a shame Rove wasn't the formal opposition reply to speech instead of LA surgeon congressional. Rove segment led off O'Reilly show after O'Reilly's talking points. Rove comment about bitterly partisan speech was interesting contrast to NBC Brian Williams's observation that the speech was about "rebranding Obama as a pragmatist and a centrist."
It's difficult to make predicitions as to how the average American perhaps not following this closely will react. It seemed to me he was far too pie in the sky in his presentation. Basically, he went on and on about the positives to the point where anyone with common sense might begin to think, What is he not saying? Nothing is that perfect.
In the end, this is a battle of attrition. Democrats seek to wear the topic down until it simply passes from weariness of the debate. My guess is his speech changes nothing. Republicans up now.
I figured out his strategy. He's going to put the country to sleep so they can pass the bill without us knowing it.
Kennedy could have made Mary Jo "better" just by opening the car door. What a joke.
Quoting Kennedy on American moralism?? Man, this guy has more gag lines than Gallager.
He mentioned townhalls? ha ha ha Now that was smart!
His door is always open? lol Why doesn't he just leave. Everyone would benefit immediately.
Will a public plan cover me if watching this idiot lie makes me sick?
What a bunch of morons we have on both sides.
