Keep Your Damn Hands Off My Bacon!

May 12, 2010

I do worry that people never stop to think about the world the Leftists are intent on creating. It isn't just about controlling healthcare through insurance and services. It's the whole deal – what you eat, when you eat, and so many other choices they will make for you.

The Left always argued that abstinence was ridiculous when it came to sex education. But that's precisely what they now argue when it comes to food. What this boils down to, pardon the pun, is choice. Talk about anti-choice. There is no underlying principle of liberty with the Left, only what they choose to control and what they elect to not control.

Team Obama's food police initiative is just the latest in a long line of power grabs by the Left.

Sorry, this one ends up being much ado about nothing. The school district dramatically over-reacted, then attempted to blame state law for their reaction. TX Agriculture Dept says: nope, that’s not our purview, and anyway we don’t set disciplinary policy for schools, and also: you’re over-reacting to a piece of candy.

You’ll need an ID to buy bacon(no more than 2 lbs. per month), unfortunately it wont be salted and salt will be $25 a pound and tightly controlled.

Stout – It’s more than you think. In February if I’d seen you smoking a cigarette while eating a triple-bacon sandwich, I would’ve said, “Hope he has good insurance”. Now, it’s “Wait, am I paying for his healthcare!?”
