There is said to be more to come on this, later.
Sources in Alaska have informed Big Government that the trend in
the count of absentee ballots makes it virtually impossible that
Sen. Murkowski will overtake Joe Miller in the GOP Senate Primary.
A trusted and well-placed operative told BG:
Update: As far as I know at this point, these ballots
were counted today, possibly breaking 60/40 Murkowski. But it is
one of her stronger areas. I think what some are concerned about is
a nickle and dime strategy that ultimately leads to a recount,
where the real fun...
Fortunately, I have F-Secure 9.0 virus protection
between my eyes and my brain. So, as soon as I started reading this crap, it was
identified, contained and auto-deleted. Shorter Meghazilla: I was
plopped out into an air conditioned hospital in AZ as a child of
privilege and have never wanted for...
This cracks me the hell up. I don't see any way
Beck's schtick as it currently stands plays in prime-time. That's
why there's a History Channel. What I find most interesting is
where some of the push behind Beck is coming from and his recent
focus on religion.
It's also interesting that...

Anchorage, Alaska. August 31, 2010 — The Joe Miller for U.S.
Senate campaign applauded the decision by Alaska Lt. Gov. Craig
Campbell to post assistant attorneys general at the ballot counting
rooms following the revelation that a Murkowski observer wrongfully
Stacy McCain reports team Miller is
satisfied at this point. Sources in Alaska I've spoken to expect to
see Miller still ahead at the end of today, though it
isn't likely to be over tonight. According to some, Murkowski is
actually somewhat under-performing on absentees in some
key districts she won. h/t C4P for this Hotline link, which...
The News Real Blog recently featured some of this boob's prose left on the copy
editing floor. Let's see, she's flashed her breasts on
Twitter, was dumped from the campaign, and her book is
entitled "Dirty, Sexy, Politics." And that's just for starters. But
Palin is the drama queen? And Stephanoupolus thinks she's a...
An interesting item that was just non-news in late July. Journalists don't
usually simply come up with these blurb ideas. They are
fed them from both camps. Here's a contemporaneous report of
Barrett's confrontation with a 20 year-old pipe wielding nut
last year. Six-weeks ago it was news, again – now today they are...
Geez, talk about playing the victim card. After reading the AP report, I expected a 12 round commerical
in boxing shorts. As I don't see any advantage in making fun of a
previous beating the Democrat took while intervening in an apparent
family dispute, it looks as though far too...
Update: This was a much longer talk than originally
posted. It's my understanding there was a glitch and the full
podcast will get uploaded. The first 13 minutes are just that.
I've noticed something that probably shouldn't really
come as a surprise when I do podcasts with Melissa Clouthier. You
Wow! So, um, I guess every bit of

Damn. Mark Levin was on fire tonight, while I was preoccupied
with events in Alaska. But it's the same fight. It's one America
began over two-hundred years ago and, as Mark points out, will
never truly end.
Government is necessary. But just as people must be governed, so
must government be...
It looks like a fairly straight-forward process,
beginning tomorrow and lasting a week.
As of this past weekend, Miller was leading by 1,668 votes.
State officials start counting the more than 23,000 absentee and
provisional ballots Tuesday and expect to be finished by next
Wednesday — from there, they hope to...
Update: A door closes for Murkowski. How long before the
loyal Republican reaches out to the Dems ala Crist?
On Sunday morning, over coffee and donuts, the ExComm voted
unanimously, 5 to 0 to deny the Senator the ballot line. There was
no malice intended. ALP Chair Kohlhaas has repeatedly stated...
Geesh! I've had more emails and calls regarding some recent
posts than ever. What's going on, people seem to be saying.
I'll sum it up the way I just did to a friend. There are good,
bad and indifferent actors within the establishment GOP. No one
should tar the whole thing...
In 1987, after presumably taking and failing the admittedly
difficult Alaskan Bar Exam several times, Senator Lisa Murkowski
seems to have begun a long-term close relationship with a bar
exam preparation company later hit with an 11.9 million dollar
copyright violation judgment for wrongly acquiring currently in

Rut Roh – a troubling three page letter from the Miller campaign
citing multiple potential infractions of election law and procedure
by a Murkowski observer, who, after mis-identifying himself, was
allowed unfettered access to a computer he should not have
accessed. The access presented a clear opportunity for vote
