Is Mitt Romney Losing His Religion?
This is from an email tip and I want to qualify it very carefully. I have absolutely no issues with Mitt Romney's faith and to the extent some people may, that bothers me. Frankly, I don't think it's as big a deal as some may make it out to be. I...
Get Ready to Hear Nothing About Rick Santorum and Universal Health Services
As opposed to all.
Get Ready to Hear All About Rick Santorum and Universal Health Services
I actually thought it might be something when I first saw it being circulated because of the way it was played up, so I called someone with Santorum and got a big yawn. Sure enough, it's...
Team Perry Infighting Goes Public
Well, this isn't the kind of story you want to see around your guy right before Iowa. It's unclear what the motivations are for some people to start talking, anonymously, or not. Is it a final bit of internal maneuvering, or CYA crap from rats laying the groundwork to desert a...
Getting To The Romney vs. Perry Battle Conservatives Need
There is a reason why we saw so many attacks on Texas Governor Rick Perry early on, even allowing for his self-inflicted debate wounds. He has always been the only real competition for Mitt Romney. That has not changed. Here is how things stand in Iowa today according to Marist.
23% for...
Resolving Texas Governor Rick Perry’s Alleged Gardisil Issue
A woman from Texas supportive of Texas Governor Rick Perry for President, identified on Twitter as Rhonda Nelson, has been addressing questions about Perry and Gardisil. Apparently, some are still bothered by his approach to implementing the vaccination program. Personally, I'm not and never much was. I asked her to type a single...
Ron Paul: Hitler Okay, But Gaza Is A “Concentration Camp”
It's important to contrast two facts we now know about Ron Paul. One, he reportedly believes that America should not have gone to war to defeat Adolph Hitler in World War II.
Ron Paul is most assuredly an isolationist. He denies this charge vociferously. But I can tell you straight...
Paul Rahe: The Soft Despotism Of Mitt Romney And Newt Gingrich
Over at Ricochet, Paul Rahe effectively destroys any argument that either Newt, or Mitt are genuinely conservative thinkers.
If I am right in my fears in this regard, the Tea Party impulse will dissipate; the Republican party will split; the Democrats will return in 2016; and 2012 will be seen in...
I Fell In A Vat Of Chocolate
While doing a Big Government story earlier, I noticed that Anonymous suggested you yell fire if you're being raped during a violent overthrow of the government because more people will come to help.

How Team Romney Will Sell Out Conservatives
I have friends backing Romney, Justin Hart being one of them. And I almost hate hitting the guy because I like people like Justin. But my judgment and experience is what it is, I can't deny that. BTW, Coulter is also already shilling for Christie in 8 years. Bombastic as he may be, the NJ Governor is not conservative. Coulter has either lost it, or, well, I don't know what else it could be. She isn't stupid but she sure sounds it these days.
Sean Hannity Confronts Ann Coulter With Her Anti-Romney Comments From Last Year
My gut tells me here's what's going to happen. All these Mitt guys telling us how conservative he is, now, come the general, the first thing we'll be told – and this is entirely predictable – is that he's shifting toward the center for the general election. I get that. Obama ran in the center, so that doesn't bother me too much, though in Romney's case, it presents a unique problem. What he is, is incapable of providing inspirational leadership from the Right. He may well do fine as a moderate. But what happens if he wins?
That's when all these DC types...
Coulter Stands Up To Not Be Counted Upon
Update: Initially this post inadvertantly applied the quoted word "quisling" to Ann Coulter. Per Jen, the word was used to characterize Romney, not...
Conservatives Shouldn’t Abandon Rick Santorum
I've already said I support Perry, so a Santorum rise is problematic in that sense. But I think conservatives turning on Santorum, whatever their reasoning, simply because of one poll is a big mistake. It's the same Santorum Palin, Huckabee and many others have praised, after all.
