Ann Romney in Reno: Mitt a big-hearted, #caring man

It does not warm my heart to know that the battle for the presidency has basically been reduced to an episode of Dancing with the Stars. ugh!

Ann Romney says she she’s taking to the presidential campaign trail to tell the real story about her husband, Mitt, as a caring man not someone who thinks he is ‘‘above it all.’’

The Republican candidate’s wife told an outdoor crowd of more than 500 in Reno Thursday they already know Mitt Romney is a capable, competent man. She says her job is to share the ‘‘caring piece’’ of her husband that she knows best.

Ann Romney said accusations that he doesn’t care about others or is ‘‘above it all’’ or ‘‘can’t relate’’ are off base. She said he has a good heart and ‘‘does things for the right reasons.’’

She said during a noon speech at a hot, park amphitheater that Nevada is critical to winning the White House.
