Attempted suicide goes very ROARong at Bronx zoo
Talk about not being able to catch a break. Yeesh!
A man who was viciously mauled by a tiger after leaping into the animal’s den at the Bronx Zoo in an apparent suicide attempt this afternoon has had his leg amputated. The 25-year-old man is in critical condition after being badly mauled by Katharina, an Amur tiger. It is believed she was particularly vicious because she has recently given birth to cubs.
He also had his back bitten, where a fang punctured his lung, and had his body clawed.
