MA Democrat Elizabeth Warren vows to go to DC to drink and chase women
Of course, I’m only assuming that’s what Warren meant when she was sizing up Ted Kennedy’s legacy … to coin a phrase.
“The Republican agenda makes the rich richer and the powerful more powerful,” Warren said. “I want to go to Washington to fight for the things (Kennedy) fought for.” Via BostonHerald.com.
Only the most ardent and loyal Democrats are impressed with Warren’s increasingly desperate actions. Most all of the unenrolled voters (independents) are long since “over” Kennedys in nearly every form. Even some of the less loyal Dems no longer become teary-eyed when that name is mentioned. Most might still flinch a little if the ‘legacy’ were attacked, especially by a candidate who is running opposed to any Dem. But I doubt many will be enticed by the use of the name to get positive reactions.
Her constant drum beat about big bad companies and Wall Street, true or not, might still get some traction. But many I know are really turned off by her naive desperation.
Can the woman say anything EXCEPT, “Hammering families…”?
I’ve seen her confronted with pretty ordiary questions, only to watch her go flat-footed into a non-vocal mode and look to her handler for help.
Not. Impressive.
I remain unimpressed with her vows of poverty and humility.
