Frackin’ Matt Damon’s Anti-Fracking Movie Frackin’ Financed by Frackin’ Oil-Rich Frackin’ Arab Nation – UAE
I think, busted is the appropriate term here. Plus, I thought oil money was bad news among the social consciousness set?
The UAE, a member of the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC), has a stake in the future of the American fossil fuel industry. Hydraulic fracturing has increased the United States’ domestic supply of crude oil and natural gas in areas such as the Bakken shale formation and has the potential to increase domestic production much more in the foreseeable future. That means more oil on the market, and hence lower prices for a globally traded commodity.

BTW – I heard Matt Damon’s first big break was playing Andy Gibb playing a male prostitute in his high school play. But, of course, I could be wrong.

This project appears to be an absolute wreck.
The anti-fraKKKing message was undercut by the real-life opponents being shown up in court as scientifically ignorant fraudsters.
So the screenplay has undergone extensive re-write, changing the fraKKKing opponent played by John Krasinski into an oil industry mole.
Now the funding apparently was underwritten by OPEC members seeking to counteract the energy revolution taking place in the US.
I am shocked that Damon did the narration on the Inside Job and then does this? Did he not know the UAE was backing this
project or is he just greedy?
