Talk about detached: “Government Is The Only Thing We All Belong To”

By
September 4, 2012

No, really. ‘”A video that showed on the convention floor Tuesday night offered an unusually direct embrace of the role of government in American life: “Government,” says the narrator, “is the only thing that we all belong to.”‘

Do they really not have any appreciation for how your average Amerian feels about government? Apparently not. They’ve retreated into their own bubble, now. And it may be about to pop. Video below.

  1. Ragspierre says:

They can kiss my powerful, pink ass.

  2. Curt Schiling says:

    Hahahaha! Clownspierre = power-bottom

How are you racists enjoying Michelle eviscerating you?

  3. Curt Schilling says:

There will be winger butt-hurt tomorrow. Which of you patriots will be the first to call Michelle “angry”?

  4. Curt Schilling says:

Poor Power-Bottomspierre. Always screaming about “lies,” while taking a wide-stance. Hey, whatever gets you off. Maybe someday you’ll find a GOP daddy who respects you.

    • Ragspierre says:

Ah, that sure tells us you got nutin’ as well as you possibly could.

Even you cannot defend that cognitive dissonance-0-thon last night.

Tonight, we get the spectacle of a compound liar and ethnic fraud introducing a compound liar and serial abuser of women introducing a compound liar who is so deluded he cannot tell real people from composites!

      Helluva parade!!!

      • Curt Schilling says:

Ah, all the wingnut paranoia and bubble-memes wrapped up into one drooling ramble-a-thon. Well done, power-bottom.

        • Ragspierre says:

Well, I’ve reduced you to your element again…poo-smearing troll with no defense of the obvious lies told by Mrs. Paracosm.

She REALLY wants those vay-kays to continue, huh?

          “Unconditional love”…!!! BWAAAAaaaaaahahahahahahahahahah

          • Curt Schilling says:

Got it. You hate Michelle Obama because of love … or something. It’s hard to crack wingnut codes sometimes. Maybe one of these days you’ll back up your screams of “LIESSSSSSSSS!!!!” with something resembling facts, power-bottom.

          • Ragspierre says:

Oh, I’m sorry. I thought you listened to her lying, pants-on-fire fairy-tale.

You are excused to go fix your blinding ignorance.

Get back when you know your ass from a cypress stump. I especially refer to the IMMENSE LIE told about how she and Barrackah are from similar backgrounds, being raised in “unconditional love”.

            See, moron?

  5. Chipperoo says:

Democrat Party’s new slogan: “Tutto nello Stato, niente al di fuori dello Stato, nulla contro lo Stato.”

  6. JohnInMA says:

This video and promotional effort by the Dems makes perfect sense. If your ultimate goal is to create a powerful elected class, you fill it with academics, tell everyone how government is the more erudite and enlightened of all groups in the country – in particular you suggest the elected class is much smarter than the business leaders. This makes unpopular legislation from this class of academic politicians easier force. Convincing the electorate that anything you produce is ‘for the collective’ and ‘will make life more fair’ is easy once you have convinced them there is no other way. Doling out money from the federal honeypot is the narcotic used when needed to change a reluctant mind. Just look at all of the ‘gifts’ handed out in the past few months.

  7. Curt Schilling says:

Ah, Power-Bottomspierre continues his fact-free diatribe. You see, “LIESSSSS!!!!!” are self-evident when he says so.

As with every assertion of fact from Power-Bottomspierre, Mitt Rmoney, and Paul “Lyin’” Ryan, we must just all trust him. Because he’s a guy on the internet who hates the Obamas primarily because they are black.

    • Ragspierre says:

      All poo, all the time.

We get that is all you got, you lying, Collectivist tool!

Do you SERIOUSLY want anyone to believe that poor little Barry/Barrackah…abandoned by BOTH his parents…was raised in “unconditional love”?

You are contradicting his own (HA!) books.

Well, and any form of reality.

  8. Ragspierre says:

And let’s just punk you over that “Lyin’ Ryan” BS, shall we…?

QUOTE the Ryan statement you claim is a lie.

    You lying POS.

    • Curt Schilling says:

Funny, a lying lightweight like you asking for proof or evidence, when just above here, you’re screaming about the self-evidence of whatever racist nonsense is fermenting in the wingnut fever swamp this week.

Anyway, I’ll give you more than 1 Lyin’ Ryan lies (which have all been presented to you before, and you did exactly what you do – crap your pants, hold it out as refutation, and scream about LIESSSSSS!!!

      1. Ryan continues to claim that President Obama said business owners did not build their own businesses. Obama said that business owners benefit from government infrastructure and programs, which they did not build. No small business owner has built an inter-state highway or bridge, but those are the means whereby their goods get to market. Ryan’s (and the GOP’s) talking point in this regard is a typical Karl Rove Big Lie, and among an informed electorate it ought to discredit them.

      2. Ryan keeps attacking Prsident Obama’s stimulus program now. But in 2002 when then President George W. Bush proposed stimulus spending, Ryan supported it. “What we’re trying to accomplish today with the passage of this third stimulus package is to create jobs and help the unemployed,” Ryan told MSNBC in 2002. Ryan says that the stimulus had not positive effects, while economists say it saved or created millions of jobs and pulled the US out of a near-Depression.

      3. Paul Ryan charges that Barack Obama has ‘stolen’ $700 billion from medicare for his Obamacare. In fact, these expense reductions do not cut Medicare benefits, and, moreover, Romney and Ryan supported these reductions! The difference is that they would give the savings to the affluent, whereas Obama uses them to cover the presently uninsured.

      4. Then there’s the bizarre sub 3 marathon lie.

      5. The Janesville plant didn’t close when Obama was president, and Obama didn’t “promise” to open it back up.

You know all of the above, and won’t present anything resembling a factual rebuttal.

      Will you, Power-Bottomspierre?

      • Ragspierre says:

I don’t see anything resembling a quote, you lying POS.

I DO see your version, which is just a cut and paste of BS lies from hte Moonbattery.

Put up the quote for Number 5.

        (This’ll be fun).

        • Curt Schilling says:

How predictable. You can’t see any quotes because you’re too f*ckng stupid, or blind to read them.

Nothing by butt-hurt from the Power Bottom who never cites a thing, but instead keeps screaming “LIESSSSSSSS!”. How is ANY of the above a “lie,” specifically? I know it’s hard for you, little Power-Bottom. Maybe one of these days you’ll just try to pretend to cite some facts.

Let’s try to make this easier on you, little Power-Bottom.

          Ryan admitted the marathon lie.

Does Obamacare take money from the benefits side or not?

Did Ryan argue in favor of the 2002 stimulus or not?

Did Ryan misquote Obama with the “you didn’t build that” line or not?

Here’s what Lyin Ryan said about Janesville:

“Right there at that plant, candidate Obama said: ‘I believe that if our government is there to support you this plant will be here for another hundred years.’ That’s what he said in 2008. Well, as it turned out, that plant didn’t last another year.”

          Ryan later “clarified”:

“What I was saying is the president ought to be held to account for his broken promises. After the plant was shut down he said he would lead efforts to restore the plant. It’s still idle.”

          See that word “promise,” birther?

All of the above is verifiable fact, upon which even you cannot take a wide stance (although we know that you really want to).

In other news, Gabby Douglas will be leading the pledge of allegiance tonight. We’re eagerly awaiting your fact-filled critique of her hair or something.

          • Ragspierre says:

You mean the same Gabby Douglas Mrs. Pres. Paracosm brow-beat for daring to eat an Egg McMuffin, and your moonbattery HATED on for saying she was a Christian?

            That young lady?

  9. Ragspierre says:

    Ryan admitted the marathon lie.

Yes. Unlike you Collectivists, he can and does admit when he’s wrong.

Does Obamacare take money from the benefits side or not?

Who the hell knows? IT PRETENDS to find savings, which are NOT evident at ALL. What we DO know it that it is ALLLLLLL based on lies, and is scored at 150% of what we were told when passed…and counting.

Did Ryan argue in favor of the 2002 stimulus or not?

Yes. How is that a “lie”, moron? A conflicting position…separated by a DECADE of experience…is evidence of learning. Yes? Was the Bush stimulus anything LIKE the Obama one? Phuc NO.

Did Ryan misquote Obama with the “you didn’t build that” line or not?

Obama DID, in fact, tell achievers they didn’t achieve their achievement on their own. It is a common theme of your Collective, per Lyin’ Lizzy Warren.

We all heard him, and you can’t lie it away, you Collectivist POS.

Here’s what MR. Ryan said about Janesville:

“Right there at that plant, candidate Obama said: ‘I believe that if our government is there to support you this plant will be here for another hundred years.’ That’s what he said in 2008. Well, as it turned out, that plant didn’t last another year.”

    Which is exactly true.
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=4TsV_Z0NPCA

But we KNOW that Obama’s promises are just unfulfilled LIES.

And we KNOW that you are just a lying puke, which seems a litmus test to be in your vile Collective.

In prime-time, they sound like Conservatives.

Huh. It is almost like they are trying to run away from who they are…

    Or dupe the American people.

    Again.
