Latest AP – GfK poll statistically tied: O – 47, R – 46

The media is pulling out all the stops to push things Obama’s way. But with 7 weeks to go, the race is virtually tied.

President Barack Obama and GOP challenger Mitt Romney stand about even among likely voters, with 47 percent backing Obama and 46 percent Romney. But there are sharp demographic divides driving each candidates support.
