Most Accurate Pollster in 2008: Rasmussen

FWIW – Rasmussen has pretty much had this race the closest of all the various polling efforts. It doesn’t hurt to remember that, he was the most accurate in 2008, with an A- rating.

    Sorry guys, the studies cited for Rasmussen’s accuracy were based on preliminary vote data which showed Obama winning by 6-6.5%. In face, Obama won by 7.28%. When that is factored in, Rasmussen’s performance is very mediocre.

    Rasmussen had a 92% Accuracy and 86% consistency for month of October in the 2008 presidential election. Not too bad!
