Every few years, I see yet another attempt, either from the community itself, or from academics trying to move us past bigotry and narrow-mindedness, to redefine pedophilia as a “sexual orientation.”

Hey, some people are born with any number of evil traits. Does that make mass murder simply a matter of another type of ‘innate orientation’, deserving of the respect the academics appear to want for pedophiles?
Reason is no longer required for academic honors. Even ‘peer reviewed’ matter lacks it often (a blatant poke at the climate change excuse makers).

Defending children seems to be how I was born.
Conservatives should take this seriously. The movement to make pedophilia reclassified as a “misunderstood” sexual orientation has been going on for a long time and they are very, very serious about it. They’re using the same language and tactics the gay rigths crowd used so successfully and they will not give up. This isn’t a joke. They mean it.
In a novel I wrote two decades ago, I allude to the Omnisexual…or “Ecstatic”…movement.
It wasn’t hard to see that trajectory.
