Racist Photos Sent to GOP Rising Star Mia Love

A packet of information sent to Mayor Mia Love’s office that city officials described as racist launched a police investigation Tuesday.
City Manager Mark Christensen described the contents of the thick envelope as “disturbing” and “pretty creepy stuff.” He said it included a picture of Love and her husband, Jason, and a hooded Ku Klux Klan character. There also were pictures of aborted fetuses, he said.
“I couldn’t tell if it was threatening or anything. It kind of shocked me, what I saw,” he said….
“I want you to know, I want everyone to know I am comfortable in my skin. I’m comfortable and proud of my heritage. I’m proud of who I am. I know where I’m going and I know what we need to do to get this country back in order again. There isn’t anything that anyone can send me that will distract me from that so they can bring it,” she said.

Also for those that do not know the facts: the financial collapse of 2007 that started this recession was based on the collapse of the housing markets and financial institutions use of bad loan bundling. This housing collapse was caused when Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae were told to deregulate home loans and make more loans available to those that can not afford to purchase a house. This was done by Pres Clinton. The banks were then forced to provide loans for houses to those people who would never have qualified before. This was then followed by a housing boom. The problem was people were able to purchase more house at higher prices then they were able to pay for in the long run. At some point in the future these loans became due and low and behold people could not pay. More and more loans began to default. Banks knowing they had made bad loans on thenurging of the government

Banks knowing they had made bad loans bundled those loans into other types of investments to mitigate their losses. Soon as those loans defaulted the investments they were bundled with also lost value. Soon there was a rapid loss of wealth both in physical dollars (investments) and material (loss of houses to foreclosures).
This was all set up by poor democratic policy trying to intervene in free markets.
As to the coverage of the RNC. There were multiple minorities who were speakers at the conference. Check the Internet for their speeches.
