Tommy Christopher confirms he’s an utter moron

Tommy Christopher in reaction to Roger Simon’s satire yesterday - before he updated, acknowledging same. Ah, yes, it possessed that “ring of truth” only the smaht inside the Beltway set like Tommy can recognize. You may ask, WTF is this idiot talking about?

Tommy Christopher: Simon’s anecdote has the recognizable (to the Beltway crowd) ring of truth that renders it canonical in political circles … Simon’s anecdote demonstrates that the Romney campaign’s toxic press is in Ryan’s head. In this electoral game of chicken, Ryan is already unbuckling his seatbelt and visualizing his roll onto the shoulder.

Don’t ask him. He doesn’t know what he’s talking about, either. What a delicious bit of self-humiliation.

Come to think of it, Tommy Christopher does sort of look like the guy who got arrested for humping a couch recently. Oh, but Tommy, I bet he’s far too smart for that. Undoubtedly, he’d be caught humping a love-seat. That’s what sets the inside the Beltway smaht set guys like Christopher apart  from the rubes. LMAO

While perhaps not the first time Christopher’s made it into the dumbass hall of fame, certainly it’s the most hilarious.

He does have quite a track-record of journalistic pratfalls.

His interview of the phony “parents” of the underage girl caught up in the Wiener scandal was astounding.

His biggest problem appears to be a terribly poor, almost non-functioning BS meter.

If I had to interpret his overwrought gobbledygook apologia, I’d say he’s taking the Dan Rather defense: Simon’s tale was “fake but true.”

Tommy seems more of a self-important ‘journalist’ than a real one using tools of investigation and analysis. The clip posted here is furthere evidence he practices the art of hyperbolic prose as a way to mask the voids.
