President Obama has learned something during his presidency: You can’t change Washington from the inside. “The most important lesson I’ve learned is that you can’t change Washington from the inside,” he told a Univision forum Thursday. “You can only change it from the outside.”

The remark immediately set off the political media on Twitter. “(This) is perhaps Obama’s worst gaffe since he met Joe the Plumber?” BuzzFeed editor Ben Smith asked on Twitter Thursday afternoon.

Yes, this latest bit of selective editing of Obama’s statements is CERTAIN to be the winner! Does it ever bother you morons that the only way you can make Obama look bad is too obviously, and dishonestly truncate his statements?

  4. Ragspierre says:

“The most important lesson I’ve learned is that you can’t change Washington from the inside. You can only change it from the outside. That’s how I got elected, and that’s how the big accomplishments like health care got done, was because we mobilized the American people to speak out.”

Which makes it worse, in full context.

He got elected by lying about who he was and what he intended to do.

Like redistributionism, fascist economics, usurpation of power, crazy expansion of the regulatory burdens, etc.

ObamaCare got done by lying about what it was and what it intended to do…and over the expressed wishes of the majority of Americans.

And the statement is schizophrenic. The most important lesson he’s learned is what he knew before his election?

    The guy is sick.
