US State Department now in “full-blown crisis mode”
What the hell took them so long? Still, as long as they are babbling on about some stupid non-movie, it’s clear that the vision and leadership is lacking to do very much productive in dealing with it. Plus, we already know how Obama sees a crisis, thanks to Rahm Emanuel.
The State Department has gone into full-blown crisis mode, organizing a round-the-clock effort to coordinate the U.S. government’s response to the expanding attacks on U.S. embassies in the Middle East and North Africa.
“The State Department has stood up a 24-hr monitoring team to insure appropriate coordination of information and our response. In addition, our consular team is working with missions around the world to protect American citizens and issue appropriate public warden information,” a senior State Department official told reporters Friday afternoon.

They’re blaming the moviemakers, they’re blaming Romney, they’re blaming everyone in sight to cover the fact that they had 48 hours warning of this but Hillary Clinton is so rabidly antimilitary that she would set rules of engagement that permitted them loaded weapons… and Obama was so lazy he skipped the meetings where he might actually have exercised some leadership.
