AP: The crowds tell the story – Romney is surging!

The crowds tell the story. As Election Day nears, Mitt Romney is drawing large and excited throngs.

Look to dusty Iowa cornfields, rain-soaked Virginia parks, the muddy fields of the Shelby County Fairgrounds, where a crowd of 9,500 – almost half of this western Ohio town – gathered among the barns and stables on a frigid October evening this week to glimpse the Republican presidential contender.

Romney’s debate performance against President Barack Obama last week – and his energetic appearances following it up – have fueled a rise in enthusiasm on the campaign trail. Whether or not it will translate into votes, polls do suggest that Republicans are fired up. It’s a welcome development for the Republican businessman, who is hardly a natural politician and has long struggled to match Obama’s ability to inspire excitement.

Love the snarky final paragraph. Translated:
Romney’s crowds are so big we can’t ignore it anymore. However, We, the Moral and Intellectual Elites, are skeptical about huge, enthusiastic crowds translating into votes. After all, Romney needs all the help he can get — he’s really no good at this “politics” thing.

If President Man Country is so inspiring, so uplifting, so much of a charismatic figure, so much of a gifted rhetorician, ————— where are the lawn signs and the bumper stickers loudly proclaiming to one and all the allegiance and the devotion of the masses for him?

    Whither the lawn signs?

I can tell you in the counties outside Philadelphia, Chester, Delaware, Bucks and Montgomery counties, areas where the Democrats have grown in strength over the last two decades, resulting in Pennsylvania reliably going for the Democrats, there aren’t any lawn signs.

Let me say that again, there aren’t any lawn signs supporting President Man Country.

In Jewish areas outside of Philadelphia, such as Bala Cynwyd, there aren’t any lawn signs supporting President Man Country.

Sure there are one or two, occasionally, infrequently. But it can be stated categorically, THERE AREN’T ANY LAWN SIGNS in areas that caused the wipe out in 2006 and 2008.

President Man Country has proven himself an abject, miserable fraud and failure, and has proven that to the nth degree to those who were his MOST earnest, sincere and besotted believers.

Now many of those lost creature will surely vote for him once more, but their enthusiastic belief in him has been shattered, ——— which means we can expect to see a diminished turnout for President Man Country.

Oh God let this fraud be exposed and thrown up on the ash heap of history, Oh God spare this country from him, and from those he represents!
