AP: U.S. Officials – We didn’t link Libya attack to video
Looks like someone has some questions to answer, if the media insists upon asking them, as they should. Not only this below, but what about that damned appeasement video commercial featuring Clinton and Obama.
We have a First Amendment, even if the left would like it to disappear, along with the Second. Since when is it American policy for it’s President and Sec. of State to go on record speaking out against a film because they don’t like it?
This is shaping up like a huge calamity for the administration and at a time when Obama can not afford one. Gee. That’s too bad!
The State Department said Tuesday it never concluded that the consulate attack in Libya stemmed from protests over an American-made video ridiculing Islam, raising further questions about why the Obama administration used that explanation for more than a week after assailants killed the U.S. ambassador and three other Americans. More parsing of the definition of “is”. I just cannot follow the minutia, but I suspect we will be told that Hillary never SAID the video WAS (is) the only trigger for the Bengazi attacks, or some such rationalization.
There is just no way that the administration can perform a post hoc rationalization of the words spoken by the President, Secretary of State and UN Ambassador.
If they elided events in Libya with those in Egypt and elsewhere, it was intentionally misleading. They were trying to obfuscate when they knew better.
They also cannot reserve judgment now, after having committed themselves so early on.
They are simply redoubling the lies. Or displacing the old lies with new lies, if you prefer.

We have each of these pukes…on multiple occasions…alluding to the video as the spark for a protest that escalated.
Obama SIX times in his UN speech. As recently as that…AND MORE RECENTLY at campaign stops.
And just why did the First Creep get up at the UNGA and claim it’s all about the video THREE WEEKS after the 9/11 fiasco. That is an October Surprise if Romney will seize Oblunder by the balls and twist…!!!
