Bill Clinton’s Get-Out-the-Vote Event … in Wisconsin

I guess Slick Willy wanted to assure the college kids they’d get their loans. I care less about that than the fact that he’s tied up in Wisconsin campaigning for Obama  in late October.

Get-out-the-vote events are usually as full of substance as high school pep rallies. But the guest speaker had other plans.

Bill Clinton took the stage at the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay on Friday night and delivered an hour-long education in the real issues at stake in this election. He talked about Medicaid and financial reform and the student loan system with an appreciation for the granular not usually displayed by the man he was stumping for, President Obama.

  1. Steven W. says:

Today Rasmussen Reports: “Wisconsin allows early voting, and among those who have already voted, it’s Romney 54%, Obama 43%. Of those who have yet to vote, 90% say they’ve already decided whom they will support. Obama leads 50% to 49% among these voters.” Romney is crushing the early voting in WI … and that was before Obama threw Israel under the bus!

I agree. If Big Dog is in Wisconsin, the firewall is giving way here and there.

OfA should have him shuttling between Florida and Ohio.

But woe to those who attend his rallies. I mean an hour-long speech.

Who has the time or the patience for that?

The students probably spent the last 40 minutes texting and tweeting.
