Garrett Reid, son of Eagles’ Andy Reid, died of heroin overdose at training camp
Shame.
The son of Philadelphia Eagles coach Andy Reid died of an accidental heroin overdose, Northampton County (Pa.) authorities said on Thursday.
Garrett Reid, who had struggled with drug use in the past, was found dead in a dorm room at Eagles training camp at Lehigh University in Easton, Pa., on Aug. 5.
“We are confident today that Mr. Reid’s death was the result of a self-injected lethal dose of heroin,” Northamption district attorney John Morganelli said at a news conference.
