Good Morning America weather anchor Sam Champion Engaged to Rubem Robierb
I remember when this guy came up through the ranks in Philadelphia. There sure was a lot of q, … er, um, strange weather back then. lol I kid. I kid.
It’s all sunny skies for Sam Champion! The Good Morning America weather anchor is engaged to Rubem Robierb, ABC News announced Friday.
Robierb, a Miami-based, Brazilian fine-arts photographer, met Champion through mutual friends a few years ago. Says Champion, 51, in a statement, “We are thrilled and so excited, and thank everyone for their good wishes.” He also Tweeted, “I’ve never been happier to share a bit of personal news!!”
The pair are set to wed later this year, although the couple seem to still be sorting out an exact date. Via : People.com.
I went to college with Sam. We were fraternity brothers at Eastern Kentucky University in the early 80′s. We were KA’s, Kappa Alpha Order, a fine southern fraternity who’s spiritual leader is General Robert E. Lee.
Sam sure wasn’t gay then. I guess the bright lights and big city liberalism got the best of him.
Dude, he was gay back then. It’s not the bright lights or bid city that converts them. It’s being free of the brothers.
Here’s some news for ya sport, many folks “change” over the years, particularly their sexuality. If Bacadog says he was straight and knew the man himself, who are you who didn’t to dispute him? Plenty of women in our society “choose” to be lesbians later in life when they find a love and tendernesss with a woman that they never got from men. We literally turned these women Gay.
