Lizzi Marriott, U New Hampshire Student Found Dead, 29 year-old Seth Mazzaglia Arrested
Reports indicate Elizabeth “Lizzi” Marriott and Seth Mazzaglia of Dover were known to one another somehow.
Missing University of New Hampshire student Elizabeth “Lizzi” Marriott is dead, and police have charged a man with second-degree murder, according to the state Attorney General’s Office.
Seth Mazzaglia, 29, is scheduled to be arraigned on Monday in connection with Marriott’s death, but her body has yet to be recovered, authorities said during a news conference. They found her car, a 2001 Mazda Tribute, in the UNH parking lot.
Marriott, 19, was last seen on Tuesday, and she texted a friend to say she would stop by another friend’s home just after 10 p.m. but never arrived. She did not show up for her job at Target on Wednesday and was not in class on Thursday.
Police had established a crime scene on Pierce Island in Portsmouth, N.H. Friday night, where ABC affiliate WCVB-TV in Boston had earlier reported a body was found, and the New Hampshire Union Leader reported the police work was related to the search for Marriott.

At a news conference Saturday afternoon, authorities said Seth Mazzaglia, 29, was charged with second degree murder in connection with Marriott’s death. The body of the 19-year-old has not been recovered.
Police said Marriott’s car was found at a UNH campus parking lot. They are calling this an isolated incident and said that there is no threat to students.
