More Feckless Republican Clowns Fret Over Obama Tape Resurrection
These idiots act as if only one bit of news can exist at any one time. I don’t see anyone demanding the Romney campaign somehow take up the issue. It doesn’t make Benghazi, the debt, or entitlements suddenly go away somehow. Gee, suddenly the Romney campaign is going to make something happen there it hasn’t done, or tried to do for months at this point?
Worse, it’s these feckless Republicans who can only see it as a matter of race-based politics. I don’t. How about this from Real Clear Politics in May this year. Presidential Campaigns Always Concern Character. This new tape is all about character and the media carrying Obama’s water. It has very little to do with race in my view.
But I think these guys are too afraid to take shots like that at Obama for fear of being called racists. You almost have to wonder if they’re hiding something about themselves.
Some of these candy asses seem afraid to punch Obama on anything that isn’t completely personally sterile and purely wonkish in nature. There’s a black guy in the race and they’re so afraid of him, or of being portrayed as racist, they’re curled up in baby diapers, or wetting their rubber training pants. Man up, for God’s sake.
“This hurts Mitt,” said 2008 Romney consultant Alex Castellanos, who has at times been a harsh critic of his current campaign. “Mitt’s window to turn the economic debate around is [Wednesday.] And his alleged supporters just shit on it. An abysmally selfish and stupid event.”
Castellanos wasn’t the only one to break ranks Tuesday.
“I [don’t] think this tape will persuade anyone. A cover up in Libya, a failing economy, and $16 trillion in debt are persuasive,” RedState Editor in Chief Erick Erickson tweeted late Tuesday.
“So, what new information do we have? That Obama’s “I barely knew Rev Wright” was a lie? Sorry, already knew that,” tweeted Florida GOP consultant Rick Wilson.
Former McCain and Huntsman campaign manager John Weaver said attempts to use the video to energize the base are just another missed opportunity.
What a weak group of Republicans: Fret Over Obama Tape Resurrection. Fret away, ladies. I’m unaware of much of anything most of you have done to try and help win this thing.

Sick of a bunch of fawning, preening attention whores – who WORRY what the left thinks, more than what the average Joe cares, who really, cannot be offended by a bloody brawl, but would cheer lustily.
Yeah, because these jerks have SUCH a great history of winning elections. Especially the McCain and Huntsman campaign manager.
You would almost think they WANT Obama to win. Business as usual, which is good for business. Yeah, there, I said it.
In their defense, certainly everyone can see how this video gives all of the fawning media (maybe fawning is redundant?) yet another chance to spend endless hours on anything but the economy, and now Libya and the Middle East in general.
I am on board, however, with how odd this campaign and many in the punditry are repeating 2008 with a total aversion to any matter or topic that they, somehow, deem racist. While Castellanos’ words may be overboard, there is merit in the Romney campaign being somewhat silent, letting the Internet (and responsible news outlets) do their job. Let Obama marinate in his own words. And surely if Obama opens the door in the debates, Romney can then broach the topic of what Obama has said. It might even be more powerful if Romney lets Obama walk into it rather than just coming out swinging.
Yeah, because Obama routinely falls into every cleverly-laid trap you and Mitt Romney lay for him.
He’s been doing very well trapping himself lately.
Are you voting with your lady parts?
Yeah, the president is in a rough spot, what with his comfortable lead in every state that matters, and projected 300-something electoral votes.
But I’m sure the “exclusive,” 5 year old “whitey” tape you’ve just uncovered will do the trick this time – just like every other time.
The election’s over, right??? Romney’s toast isn’t he?
Hahaha!
Good work, evil geniuses. You’ve unearthed a video of Obama being black, that’s been freely available on YouTube for 5 years. Hint: when even Alan West says “meh”, you know the whole world is laughing at you.
Hahaha!
Good work, evil genius, yourself!
The vile, racist hate was cut. It was a cover up.
Hint: when a leftist troll comes to a conservative website to say “super-meh,” it means it’s hitting home.
You lose.
Haha, “a cover up.” Ooga booga!
You and Tucker Carlson deserve each other. Too stupid to live.
But don’t let me stop you – the unskewed polls have Romney up by 15.
Ooga booga. “Too stupid to live.”
Those are your argument? Brilliant. NBC has cut all the racist ranting out. Just like they did five years ago. So there’s you’re “it’s been out there forever.”
Are you a real person, or a bought-and-paid-for Obama “Social Media Fake Person by Committee?”
So…Romney has to answer for an illegally-recorded remark made (he thought) privately that reflects a certain reality, but Obama doesn’t have to answer for lies about Katrina and racist hate.
Right-on.
What are you talking about? It was a public speech at a university given by a Presidential candidate and covered by the media, including Fox News and Tucker Carlson. The entire video has been available.
Even conservative filmmaker John Ziegler, who did a 2008 documentary about what he considered to be the media’s bias for Obama, said this is ridiculous (and that he saw the entire video and didn’t include it in his anti-Obama documentary because it was a big ‘meh’)
http://www.huffingtonpost.com/john-ziegler/drudge-obama-video_b_1934392.html
You all just look ridiculous (again).
When did you see it first, Bungo?
How many lies did you detect, starting with the pretended religion?
No, “too stupid to live” is just a fact. Other facts include that Tucker Carlson and FOX News covered the event while it happened, and later reported on it. Another fact, is that the President doesn’t say anything remotely “racist” in the video. And yet another fact is that this “exclusive” 5 year old video won’t change the fact that Barack Obama will win reelection.
Why do you lie, “Concerned”?
Are you being paid to do it? Or are you just a sociopath?
“So…Romney has to answer for an illegally-recorded remark made (he thought) privately that reflects a certain reality, but Obama doesn’t have to answer for lies about Katrina and racist hate.”
I think Team Romney needs to sign you up to run its messaging. They need more deluded crackers running things.
So…
all you have is ad hominem.
Run out of talking points from the Lie-0-tron.
Whadda shame…
You seem to be awfully worked up over a nothingburger….curious…..
So, when did you see the full video the first time…
I mean the one that was not sanitized for your protection?
“You’ve unearthed a video of Obama being black…”
Funny you say that in the same comment where you mention Allen West, who is Black every day, all day.
Funny, too, that Thomas Sowell and Walter Williams are always Black.
What you meant was the video catches Obama being a racist demagogue, lying to his audience, and pretending to be religious while campaigning to be president of a “post-racial” America.
What a tool you are!
Yeah, you’ve got friends who are black, so you can’t be racist ….
Good luck with that one.
He never said any such thing. Why do you lie? Is it your job?
How is that a “lie”? Specifically.
That is the lie (fallacy) called a “red herring”.
You introduce something to deflect from the question, rather than deal with it.
And here, you employ the despicable tactic of flopping the race card, which is the last desperation of the Collectivist liar.
“Why do you lie, “Concerned”?”
Ah, the wingnut “lie” game. Name one lie from me. Specifically.
No, “too stupid to live” is just a fact.
—————————
No. That is just stupid ad hominem. Your asserting it as a “fact” is a lie.
——————————————
Other facts include that Tucker Carlson and FOX News covered the event while it happened, and later reported on it.
——————————–
True, as Carlson noted. But he was supplied a very edited (9 minute) extract of the actual video.
When did you see the whole thing for the first time, you lying POS?
———————————-
Another fact, is that the President doesn’t say anything remotely “racist” in the video.
———————————-
Sure he does, liar. He constantly makes racist statements. Try counting them honestly.
————————–
And yet another fact is that this “exclusive” 5 year old video won’t change the fact that Barack Obama will win reelection.
—————————–
That is not a “fact”, but a delusional hope recited by a lying moonbat troll.
It incorporates several overt or implicit lies, in the bargain.
EXCELLENT display of lying, hate-twisted moonbat trolling!!!
This is the point where none of you actually point to anything I’ve said as being a lie, and you proceed your dissembling about whatever Rush told you to scream about today. Unless he was off, in which case you’ll bump into each other like mental patients.
And none of you can actually point to anything actually “racist” that the president says in this “Exclusive” 5 year old video that was reported on by FOX News and Tucker Carlson in 2007 and 2008.
And none of it will matter because Mitt Romney will never be president.
Why didn’t you respond…I mean responsively…to any of the questions I put.
Why does Obama being Black only happen optionally, instead of authentically?
He was elected as a Black man, but he told people he was “post-racial”. That was a lie.
He presented himself as a religious man, and used idioms of speech that made his audience think he was one of them. That was a lie.
He recited “facts and figures” about Katrina relief that were racist myths, and those are lies.
He told the lie about more Black men being in prison than in college, and that is a racist myth, too.
I could go on, but you are a waste of time except as a foil to demonstrate the madness, lying, and delusion of the Collective.
Again.
