New Jersey: U.S. Senate candidates Menendez, Kyrillos face off in first debate
The two major candidates for U.S. Senate will get a chance tonight to shake up what has been a low-key race when they tangle in the first of three televised debates.
U.S. Sen. Robert Menendez, the Democratic incumbent, and state Sen. Joe Kyrillos, his Republican challenger, will face off at 8 p.m. at Montclair State University. The event will be broadcast on NJTV.
