Number of job openings no change in August, 3.5 unemployed for every opening

If this is Obama’s idea of forward, I’d hate to see backward  We can’t afford four more years of this lack of growth due to Obama’s stifling policies.

The number of jobs available in the U.S. was little changed in August, in another indication that the job market was still recovering only slowly from the recession.

The economy had 3.56 million available jobs at the end of August – meaning there are about 3.5 unemployed people for every opening — the Labor Department reported Wednesday. The number of jobs open equals 2.6% of the total jobs in the economy.
