Ouch!: The New Yorker set to mock Barry “The One” Obama with next cover

October 5, 2012

It’s been awhile since I’ve enjoyed much of anything about The New Yorker.

This qualifies! lol Do note the Clint Eastwood chair. heh

Here’s a sneak preview of next week’s cover, “One on One,” by Barry Blitt. “This image seemed like a proper response to the first Presidential debate,” says Blitt, “but I’m not sure I realized how hard it is to caricature furniture.

  2. Ragspierre says:

That Clint Eastwood sure knows how to set a meme!!!

  3. Ragspierre says:

    This is also very significant.

It means that…at least SOMETIMES…a Leftist rag can be NOT racist.

It means you CAN say a Black man was lazy when they are lazy, etc.

    That shows growth.

  4. Johnboy says:

You know, not everyone thought the empty chair thing was a high point of the Convention. It blew Mitt away in terms of coverage of his speech. Nada. Nothing.

Likewise, the debate was a disaster for the base.

How many ways can Mitt throw us under the bus before you sit up and take notice?

Jeez. Get a grip before it’s too late. He sold us down the river. At this point I’m almost dreading him winning.
