Phila, PA teacher humiliates student Samantha Pawlucy for Romney Tee shirt, compares it to the KKK

How absolutely pathetic is this? Can you blame her for not wanting to back to such a despicable environment pretending to be a public school supported by everyone’s tax dollars? This is truly outrageous.

A Philadelphia high schooler says she was humiliated after her teacher told her to lose her Gov. Mitt Romney T-shirt comparing it to “wearing a KKK shirt.”

Samantha Pawlucy, a 16-year-old sophomore at Charles Carroll High School in the Port Richmond section of the city, says she wore a pink Mitt Romney/Paul Ryan T-shirt last Friday during the school’s dress down day.

No one made an issue of Samantha’s political T-shirt until she got to geometry class.

“The teacher told me to get out of the classroom, I said no,” Samantha said.

“She told me to take off my shirt and said that she has another one if I need one. And then the teacher asked me… ‘are your parents Republican?’ I said, ‘I don’t know.’ She said that’s like her wearing a KKK shirt.”

Wow, that’s a good way for a Democrat to build self-esteem in a young woman. More via Mail Online. No surprise that American media is hardly covering it.

Samantha Pawlucy, a sophomore at Carroll High, said her geometry teacher publicly humiliated her by asking why she was wearing a Romney/Ryan T-shirt and going into the hallway to urge other teachers and students to mock her.

A video report – the Blaze is on it, too.

Please, somebody find even just a handful of students at that school to coordinate and show up one day with similar t-shirts.

This borders on an act of terrorism. Using fear to coerce someone for their political beliefs and going after her with a red pen. She is in a position of authority over this young girl. Teachers are our children’s first and last line of defense in the classrooms. The only defense to SAVE herself is to claim she was joking? She does not even have the guts to tell the truth…this is what she values! If it were a joke it would have been stopped at the point of the young girl getting upset and leaving the classroom and not AFTER if was reported. I cannot find anything in her dialog that can be construed as a joke. If this teacher thinks all these things she did and said are a joke her credentials need to be revoked. Abusing and insulting young kids is a joke, acceptable and funny to her? If this school accepts this teachers claim of a joke then they should have all Federal Funding revoked!!! Hard to think teachers deserve so much when we keep reading these things.

Pay closer attention,,,, the story from Samantha changes with the wind. If the teacher said what Samantha (who has changed the details according to the interviewer) she should be reprimanded. But let’s get the story first. – let’s examine the motives of the parents,,,,and posters also. If the parents want everything to go back to normal,,,stay away from the Cameras. THeir son wore a Romney Ryan shirt,,,,but had no real issues.

Stop covering for liberal thugs. Deal with the truth, not your personal needs.

The teacher should be fired. She is a racist. The only thing worse than her behavior is the attitude of the press. Can you imagine the reaction from CNN if the girl was black and the teacher was white and it was an obama shirt? And the teacher called her a democrat? We would never hear the end of it.CNN SUCKS

    • Mrs.A says:

Everyone should show their support on Tuesday 10/9/12 when she returns to school

      • Jane says:

Mrs. “A” – Has a single student in that school made any statement of support for Samantha,,and before you go there,,,,,this is not a High School with an high Minority Enrollment.

    • Jane says:

Nick, read my comment above and examine your motives.

“I’m very sorry for all the chaos and negative attention…” You call that an apology?! She didn’t actually apologize… just gave some politically correct response that never once says specifically that she is sorry for what she said or that she shouldn’t have said it. Pathetic!
