Video: A Woman Scorned – Danica Patrick wrecks herself trying to crash Landon Cassill
I spent a fair amount of time at dirt tracks as a kid. I remember when the driver we usually went with had his front wheels pinned against the outside wall and he did he did an over and back on the front axle.
He was in the backseat driving home and his wife asked him if he was okay. “Yeah,” he says, “as long as I don’t move my head like this.” lol I don’t think he knew where he was at the time.
This is subtle stuff, nothing like that. But, yeah, Danica was trying to wreck him for payback from the previous turn. At 50 seconds in, he comes up on her from the side, which got her attention and may have gotten her just loose enough for him to drop back down then come up quick and take her position.
I don’t think she cared for the move. It’s not crash bang stuff, if that’s what you’re looking for.

Danica Patrick was frustrated with Landon Cassill. However, as she drove into turn one on Cassills rear bumper on lap 155 of Sundays Sprint Cup Series race at Kansas Speedway, she got the worse end of the accident.
Patrick entered the corner with her front fender on Cassills rear bumper, and maintained the contact through the turn while moving him up the track. Her message was delivered, as Cassills car went into a spin. But Patricks did too, and when she went to straighten her car out in turn 2, she ended up sliding back up the track and slamming into the wall.
