Whitney Heichel, Starbuck’s barista’s body found; Jonathan Holt, 24, of Gresham arrested
UPDATE: This is alleged to be an image of Jonathan Daniel Holt, suspect in Whitney Heichel’s murder.
Such a shame, only 21 to meet such a tragic ending. Suspect Jonathan Holt lived in the same complex as she and her husband.
Police in Gresham, Ore., Friday said the body of missing Starbucks barista Whitney Heichel has been found and a suspect arrested in her death.
Heichel, 21, vanished Tuesday during her 5-minute drive to her job at Starbucks. Her black Ford Explorer was found in a Walmart parking lot and the passenger-side window was broken.Police Chief Craig Junginger, speaking Friday at a late-night news conference, said the suspect is Jonathan Holt, 24, of Gresham, a family acquaintance who lived in the same apartment complex as Whitney and her husband, Clint, The Oregonian reported.
Holt was charged with aggravated murder and booked into the Multnomah County Detention Center.

Jim Vaughn, a family spokesman, spoke at the Friday night news conference, thanking police for their commitment in the case.
“Really, words can’t begin to express the sadness that our families are experiencing tonight,” Vaughn said.
He asked for privacy for the family.
Police took no questions.
