UK Death Panels: British Health Care Bonus Payments for Hospitals That Create “Pathway” to Death

November 1, 2012

If you support nationalized health care, be it via ObamaCare, HillaryCare or any other form, this from Britain should sober you from your drunken stupor.

Almost two thirds of NHS trusts using the Liverpool Care Pathway have received payouts totalling millions of pounds for hitting targets related to its use, research for The Daily Telegraph shows.

The figures, obtained under the Freedom of Information Act, reveal the full scale of financial inducements for the first time.

They suggest that about 85 per cent of trusts have now adopted the regime, which can involve the removal of hydration and nutrition from dying patients.

More than six out of 10 of those trusts – just over half of the total – have received or are due to receive financial rewards for doing so amounting to at least £12 million.

Let that sink in. “Payouts.” Incentive, mind you. For “hitting targets,” ie statistical goals for patients given a “pathway.” To death. By cutting off food and fluids.

Charles Manson hit his targets and gave a pathway to people as well.

But when it’s Charles Manson, it’s crazy. When it’s the government you’ve empowered where your health and care is a financial liability rather than your doctor’s responsibility, well then it’s not crazy. IKt’s the conflict of interest you demanded. It’s your free healthcare.

It’s a death panel, and one handing out rewards for swift implementation of “the plan.”

Go ahead. Pretend next Tuesday is about condoms and skin color.

So glad you’re back! I’m gonna hit your tip jar as soon as I am able.

    Death panels…

I think Sarah Palin had something to say about them. As did Levin.

As did the “Affordable” Care Act.

    Feel better. 😉

  4. Still can’t believe Obama won. Blech. Not that Romney would’ve been any better, but still.

Thank you for any other wonderful article. Where else could anyone get that type of information in such a perfect manner of writing? I have a presentation next week, and I am on the search for such information.
