ObamaCare: Let The Taxpayer Scams Begin

November 12, 2013

This really shouldn’t surprise anyone. Same old suspects willing to mislead and bilk the system again and again. Yay, another government program. Let the waste, fraud and abuse commence.

James O’Keefe, the guerrilla videographer who helped bring down ACORN (the “community organizing” group that Barack Obama worked for as a lawyer and trainer) and got NPR’s president fired, is back.

Yeh, I KNOW I have that “surprised” face around here somewhere…

    STAY AWAY from ObamaDoggle, people.

    It is TOXIC.

AND you can fight it by simply refusing to comply. I am.

  2. Ragspierre says:

    But remember…

it is NOT a bug. Losing your privacy is a FEATURE of ObamaDoggle.

  3. Ragspierre says:

Well. At least you won’t have to be an illegal alien (low-intensity invader).

When they say “universal health insurance”, I guess they really mean it.

  4. Ragspierre says:

A new Rasmussen poll suggests growing trouble for President Obama’s troubled healthcare law. The poll of likely voters finds that a solid majority of 55% believe that Obamacare is bad for the country and want it repealed. Just 35% believe it will be good for the country.

  5. Ragspierre says:

So a couple of weeks ago he was being called incompetent by Jimmy Carter. Now he’s being lectured on commitment by Bill Clinton.

Heh! Or on honesty by Clinton. Either of them.

Riddle of the Day — What Do John Kerry and Ayatollah Khamenei Have in Common? “Well, a few things. One, they’re both billionaires who didn’t earn the money themselves. . . . Two, they both want Iran to have the bomb, but neither of them will admit it.”

    Matt Yglesias:

Rather than (foolishly) try to ensure that nobody could ever lose their insurance, the actual Affordable Care Act accelerated the demise of a certain class of plan. Politically, that’s now an embarrassment for the White House. Substantively, it’s a huge achievement.

Well. That lie that Pres. ScamWOW told you…

it was only for your own good.

According to goose-stepping lil’ Collectivist totalitarians.

The numbers are terrible, but the Daily Beast’s Michael Tomasky says President Obama needs to crack the whip, stop the panicking within his own party, and make the system work.
—The Cheat Sheet from the Beastly Day

I dunno. Sounds like an S&M fantasy by a delusional lil’ lover of dictatorship.

  9. Ragspierre says:

Yeah, but anyone with a brain (versus a crap-pack in their skull) knew BEFORE ObamaDoggle was ILLEGALLY passed over the objections of a MAJORITY of Americans that it would be…

    job killing machine numero uno.

And, of course, we were right. As usual.

  10. Ragspierre says:

WASHINGTON – President Obama announced Thursday he would offer an administrative “fix” to a provision in the Affordable Care Act – or ObamaCare- that forces millions of Americans to lose their existing health coverage by

insurance companies to allow affected policy holders to renew their old coverage.

The president said states and insurers can extend current policies canceled under health law for a year.

    Which is ALL OF…
    1. an illegal diktat, and
    2. impossible in the real world. Insurance companies cannot just eat all that expense, and
    3. so cynically political (a year gets you past the elections) that even the MOST committed bung-suckers for the Collective won’t be able to ignore it.

    Right, “Jessie”…???

  11. Ragspierre says:

There is nothing “the president could do administratively that would be both legal and effective” to fix the struggling health-care law and allow people to keep health-care plans that were due to be cancelled because of the Affordable Care Act, Speaker John Boehner said in a press briefing on Thursday morning.

“The only way to fully protect the American people is to scrap this law once and for all. There is no way to fix this,” he said.

    Well, that’s good.

That small group of “whacko-birds” sure are looking shiny now, huh?

  12. Ragspierre says:

Americans’ views of the 2010 healthcare law have worsened in recent weeks, with 40% approving and 55% disapproving of it. For most of the past year, Americans have been divided on the law, usually tilting slightly toward disapproval. The now 15-percentage-point gap between disapproval and approval is the largest Gallup has measured in the past year.

Oh, YEAH. Ditzy Wasser-Name Schultz is SO gonna have Deemocrats running TOWARD ObamaDoggle in 2014.

  13. Ragspierre says:

IF the Upton bill is assured of defeat, it makes a good piece of political chess.
The “administrative fix” is a big, fat nothingburger. It expressly states insurers “may” re-offer plans. Which generally will mean…since they sorta CAN’T re-offer plans in the real world…they won’t.

It WILL be challenged in court. It sort of invites challenges.

And, meantime, it will essentially SUSPEND sign-ups for ObamaDoggle except for the sickest and most desperate.

  14. Ragspierre says:

“As far as the Affordable Care Act is concerned, what the president said was completely accurate,” Pelosi said.

This is your mind on Botox.

  15. Ragspierre says:

Three health insurers faced a prescient question the night of Nov. 13: What if President Obama suddenly preserves health plans that do not comply with the Affordable Care Act?

At that Wednesday panel, the question was posed to Denise Gonick, the CEO of MVP Health Care; John Bennett, CEO of CDPHP; and Brian O’Grady, vice president at BlueShield Northeastern New York.

“The unanimous response was, ‘That’s impossible. Those plans are gone,’ ” O’Grady says.

Pres. ScamWOW expects OTHER people to pack the toothpaste back in the tube he punctured, and seal the damage, too.

Sounds like OTHER people may decline…politely or not.
