Ukraine accused Russia on Saturday of invading a region bordering Crimea and vowed to use “all necessary measures” to repel an attack that came on the eve of the Black Sea peninsula’s breakaway vote.

The invasion reported by the Ukrainian foreign ministry was small in scale and concerned a region that lies just off the northeast coast of Crimea called the Arabat Spit.

Don’t worry. Obama, Biden and Kerry have thought some very stern thoughts about Putin. This is all under control and there is no cause for alarm.

This is all a big misunderstanding about Obamacare enrollment in Crimea. Once healthcare.gov is up and running, Putin will be able to check on the health and well-being of all Russian speaking people in Ukraine.

Not being George W. Bush is not a foreign policy. Not invading countries is not a foreign policy. Wishing to demonstrate your sophistication by announcing you are unencumbered by the false historical narratives of the past is not a foreign policy. Assuming the world will be nice if we’re not militarist is not a foreign policy.
